“What a wonderful little inviting restaurant! Becky is awesome and greets you with a smile. She offers each person entering two options to sit down at the booth of their liking. I love the fact that the restaurant promotes locally grown and sourced foods and proudly displays the small farms and businesses' names on its wall. Copper Horse Coffee Roasters coffee is served and Mojo's Sauce is readily available on each table. The food is served hot and fresh and is very reasonably priced! Thank you Becky and The Ithaca Food Dude for your generosity for the gift card! I will be back!:)“

“My daughter and I stopped in here on a Friday night, the waiter was fast and nice. We had spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm dinners, the salad bar was fresh and the food was delicious! We will be back again for prime rib night! The decor is very nostalgic I thought it was great, my teen daughter gave the decor a giggle!“

“I drove down from Cape Vincent to meet one of my best friends from college who was in the area for a family wedding. I was completely blown away by my meal. The waitress was incredible. I had the Chilean sea bass and it literally melted in my mouth. The salad with fresh fruit and a raspberry vinaigrette was outstanding. We ordered coffee and I was brought a little tray with fresh whipped cream, as well as other delightful garnishes. Finally… the mile high carrot cake!! Pure bliss. Thank you for a truly memorable experience. And I was so grateful that we weren’t rushed. We don’t get to see each other frequently and it was a blessing to just spend time together.“

“A great bar, decently busy. Everyone pretty much knows each other there. I believe every Saturday there is a 9 ball tournament. The interior is pretty good, hall way to the bathroom is on an incline so do be careful if you are drinking because you could stumble and fall if you are intoxicated enough. There are two tvs in the bar, hosted the duke and north carolina game recently. The bartender wasn't really friendly she looked like she didn't want to be there, complaining with and attitude but didn't bother me much. Pretty decent bar in the area.“

“? Yummy Alert! ?The crab and corn soup is soooooo tasty! Try it.Layout of the food area is a bit odd which creates a bad logistical flow for people getting food and those exiting with their food. Also, the staff are seemingly unfriendly and I swear I thought the guy serving in the hot food section was going to drip sweat into the curry. The older lady next to him served the rice so sloppy. The dish looked ugly because of how it was served and presented and so I left it. But, the crab and corn soup is fantastic!“

“The Statler Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff at the check-in desk were very nice and helped us with the check-in and check-out process. They also helped us pick up our wedding decor the day after our event. The Ballroom is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and spacious! Chef Eric and his team create food that is delicious, and we received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the food! We highly recommend the Statler Hotel if you are planning an event or staying in the Ithaca area.“

“We stayed at a nearby and wanted a real hot breakfast not one prepared and set out for everyone. This was not even a block away. We arrived right after they opened at 8:30 am so they were not busy. We were greeted immediately and told to sit where we wanted. Our drink orders were promptly taken. I ordered a latte and it was delicious. For breakfast my husband created a ham & mushroom omelette and I had the Farmhouse breakfast with fried eggs and sausage. The sausage was different I could definitely taste the herbs used, it was good. The breakfast potatoes were cooked just the way I like with skins on and browned. If we return to Ithaca I would definitely return for breakfast but they serve lunch as well.“

“We were in the mood for fish and chips and found Northstar Public House, one of the few places in Ithaca with a Gluten Free option. So glad we did! Hands down the best dinner we’ve had during our visit. The fish and chips were amazing, the mac and cheese was super tasty, and the mocktail Shy Violet was spot on. Our server was wonderful and made the whole experience even better.

The vibes are great too—reggae music playing when we walked in set the tone right away. If you’re looking for a spot with delicious food, friendly service, and Gluten Free options that don’t compromise on flavor, this place is a must!“

“This cafe has decent food but it is in a really weird location. It’s in Statler but it is downstairs and really hard to find. Nevertheless, it has good hours compared to a lot of places on campus which is really convenient. The food is basic but good.“

“I’ve lived in Ithaca for 10 years now and I cannot believe I haven’t gotten here sooner. My guests from VT and I had an amazing breakfast. The menu is pretty standard for a diner, but the specials were truly unique and phenomenal. I had an omelette with chorizo and habanero cheese, amongst other veggies. Best omelette I’ve ever had, hands down. Only thing I can recommend to new visitors is to get there early; while we were waiting for a table, one of the four specials became unavailable, and as we were ordering our meals, we sold them out of a second special. I would definitely come back again and I wish I had sooner!“

“Small diner type eatery, and busy. You do not have a long wait for your order to be taken or to arrive. Barb's serves your basic breakfast fare, and the coffee is decent and hot. The owner, Sue, is cheerful, pleasant, and personable. For.me, Barb's makes the best home fries by far. I was camping upbthebroad at a State Park and had my breakfast here every morning for a week. This establishment has been in Locke for many years and has many loyal customers.

“Cool vibe with live music. Food was great. Order at counter and they bring out your food. Prices were reasonable except I feel kids meals were overpriced. Beer was cold and good. My only suggestion would be some other drink options. Soda, lemonade, something. There was only a small wine fridge with old fashioned black cherry soda, orange, ginger beer, some sletzer water. Some traditional coke/pepsi etc would be nice.“

“I got fired from Chili’s a few years ago but I still love the food. Our waitress Riley was super nice and helpful. I got druunk last night and this was my hangover meal. The only thing I don’t like is the AI responses to the reviews on here. A chilihead should respond instead. I’ll still come back though“

“Excellent place to eat food. They have a huge variety of foods. I actually like them better than the dining halls because the salad bar has more options and is more organized. They also pay by the lb for a lot of stuff, so you don't have to feel compelled to stuff yourself to get your money's worth. On the go snacks are available too.“

“I went on a night when the pool tables were free! Decent priced drinks. I was really impressed by the free stuff in the bathroom, some of which I've seen in other places but some was new to me. There were condoms and tampons but also cup covers to stop your drink from getting drugged, fentanyl test kids and a test for some other drug I can't remember. A couple does of narcan in there too.“
