“this was the most wonderful inn! we were super lucky and spent two nights in the falls suite, with its private balcony and heated bathroom floor! breakfast was excellent and we never left hungry. the front desk was beyond sweet in waiting for is to arrive late and stayed to see is check in. the bed was so comfortable and that showed was relaxing. enjoying the cool night out by the firepit and the breathtaking sunrise over the lake. the hike to the falls was easy and beautiful. we are already planning to come back when the restaurant and food truck are up and running.“

“My daughter and I stopped in here on a Friday night, the waiter was fast and nice. We had spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm dinners, the salad bar was fresh and the food was delicious! We will be back again for prime rib night! The decor is very nostalgic I thought it was great, my teen daughter gave the decor a giggle!“

“The Statler Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The staff at the check-in desk were very nice and helped us with the check-in and check-out process. They also helped us pick up our wedding decor the day after our event. The Ballroom is beautifully decorated and the rooms are clean and spacious! Chef Eric and his team create food that is delicious, and we received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the food! We highly recommend the Statler Hotel if you are planning an event or staying in the Ithaca area.“

Also, the staff are seemingly unfriendly and I swear I thought the guy serving in the hot food section was going to drip sweat into the curry. The older lady next to him served the rice so sloppy. The dish looked ugly because of how it was served and presented and so I left it. But, the crab and corn soup is fantastic!“

“A great bar, decently busy. Everyone pretty much knows each other there. I believe every Saturday there is a 9 ball tournament. The interior is pretty good, hall way to the bathroom is on an incline so do be careful if you are drinking because you could stumble and fall if you are intoxicated enough. There are two tvs in the bar, hosted the duke and north carolina game recently. The bartender wasn't really friendly she looked like she didn't want to be there, complaining with and attitude but didn't bother me much. Pretty decent bar in the area.“

“This cafe has decent food but it is in a really weird location. It’s in Statler but it is downstairs and really hard to find. Nevertheless, it has good hours compared to a lot of places on campus which is really convenient. The food is basic but good.“

“This was our first restaurant during a 4 night visit to Ithaca and area. I say that because we wanted to return later but unfortunately it was closed for two nights for a private event. My wife is celiac and she ordered the fish and chips with sides of mac and cheese and fries. She found the order plentiful and excellent. The fish was lightly breaded, properly cooked, and VERY tasty. The fries were excellent and the mac and cheese also tasty. It was a real treat for a celiac to be able to order delicious gluten-free fish and chips. I ordered the blackened fish and grits and it too was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, I gave this restaurant 4* because of the very long wait for our meals to be delivered and then for the bill to arrive later. And this despite the fact that the place was less than half full. However, the three staff were all moving very quickly and our server was quite helpful when we placed our order. So I suspect that maybe the restaurant was short-staffed that day or unable to hire sufficient staff. In any case, even with the wait we were willing to return if we could.“

“I’ve lived in Ithaca for 10 years now and I cannot believe I haven’t gotten here sooner. My guests from VT and I had an amazing breakfast. The menu is pretty standard for a diner, but the specials were truly unique and phenomenal. I had an omelette with chorizo and habanero cheese, amongst other veggies. Best omelette I’ve ever had, hands down. Only thing I can recommend to new visitors is to get there early; while we were waiting for a table, one of the four specials became unavailable, and as we were ordering our meals, we sold them out of a second special. I would definitely come back again and I wish I had sooner!“

“Great beer selection and really good food. Ordered two different burgers with salads for a side and the special taco tots. Everything was great with good quality ingredients. 1/2lb burger patties with nice brioche buns and nice toppings. Side salads were great with a green goddess dressing, and the tots were also excellent.“

“My husband and I came on Veteran's Day to have a late dinner after the gym. We got seated pretty quickly, and it wasn't packed at all. The majority of the customers were at the bar drinking, relaxing, or eating, etc.

My husband can eat a lot, so he took advantage of his free veteran's Entree meal while we also both ordered from the "2 for $26" special meal deal. We both got side salads and the Fiesta Lime Chicken (+$1.50 upgrade each). The food came out extremely quick, which we were happy about! There was a slight blunder that occurred when the kitchen sent out our food, but it was quickly resolved by our amazing server, who noticed he was still missing his second entree. Also, as someone who drinks a lot of water, our server quickly refilled my drinks, which I loved!!!

Overall, it was a lovely dinner night for the two of us who normally don't eat out as often. Our server was so friendly and attentative to us. Thank you for making our night!!! I don't remember her name, but she got sick tattoos!“

I would give them 10 stars if I could , fried pickles amazing , chicken park amazing , chicken wings prob best in town. Will be becoming a regular here !“

“Small diner type eatery, and busy. You do not have a long wait for your order to be taken or to arrive. Barb's serves your basic breakfast fare, and the coffee is decent and hot. The owner, Sue, is cheerful, pleasant, and personable. For.me, Barb's makes the best home fries by far. I was camping upbthebroad at a State Park and had my breakfast here every morning for a week. This establishment has been in Locke for many years and has many loyal customers.

“The service and atmosphere was amazing, they had historical decorations . On the back of the menu there was information about the area's history. The food was amazing, I got a rice bowl and crepes, the crepes were mildly overcooked but it didn't bother me. It came with unsweet homemade whipped cream and fresh berries. It wasn't too sweet. The rice bowl was an Asian take on a breakfast rice bowl and the flavors went very well together. I also got a cold brew coffee and it was brewed very well, it came black and there was a section with milk and multiple kinds of sweeteners. The employees were very kind and quick. The seating wasn't the best as they only had tables of 2 and one table of 4. There was outdoor seating but it was on top of parking so there was only 3 parking spots.“
