“A hidden gem! Great food & drinks and an even better vibe. Everyone is friendly and welcoming with the best part being delicious food. There is always an option for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and even things for kids. They have an amazing selection of every course. Delivery and takeout is an option as well. Weekly specials and live music along with football games PS there’s an AirBnb above the restaurant open year round.“
“What a lovely find just outside of Cortland for parents looking for a relaxing but tasty dinner option. Great wings and the poutine would make Canadians proud. Very friendly service and no waiting on a Friday night. This has definitely become our go-to dinner place for move in and move out weekends.“
“Love this place. Has come a long way since it opened 8 months or so ago. Great food, lots of gluten free and vegan options. Restaurant itself is stunning. Staff are friendly and professional. Check out the bakery too. So glad to have this place in Homer NY!“
“Glorious portion sizes and value. The menu options are expansive but not expensive at all. No frills cozy little space serving up great food.Expect to pay $10-18 PER PERSON. We ordered blueberry pancakes, corn beef hash, a side of eggs, and the scrambled egg special. All came out to only $25 (including tip) for 2 adults!Parking is easy.Kid-friendliness: Great for family!“
“Holy moly.. you want to talk about a good sub! Portions were out of this world huge. I didn’t even begin to make a dent in the fries or sub. Come hungry!! The chef and staff was so kind. You can tell the chef is passionate about his creations. Thanks for the great lunch!!?“
“A great bar, decently busy. Everyone pretty much knows each other there. I believe every Saturday there is a 9 ball tournament. The interior is pretty good, hall way to the bathroom is on an incline so do be careful if you are drinking because you could stumble and fall if you are intoxicated enough. There are two tvs in the bar, hosted the duke and north carolina game recently. The bartender wasn't really friendly she looked like she didn't want to be there, complaining with and attitude but didn't bother me much. Pretty decent bar in the area.“
“The owners are friendly, personable people that will get to know you (and your order!) quick. They have breakfast sandwiches, a wide variety of cookies, cupcakes, and ice cream in the warmer months. They do catering with cakes and the like, as well. It's a small place with not much seating, but you don't really need it if you're on the go. My go-to is a sausage, egg & cheese with a hashbrown on a plain bagel, a diet Dr. P, and a cookie (aka the Student Special for $9-10). They also offer day-olds for $1, a real steal. Support a local Cortland business and go get some Frosted!“
“Service was great, we stopped twice on our way through. First time I tried the Cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken was nice and juicy and their homemade fries are great. The next time we stopped I tried the meatball Parm, so much flavor in that dish, highly recommend.“
“Amazing restaurant! 2 day trip in the area and couldn't help but eat dinner there a second time after the first night. They were busy both night but very accommodating. Owner/manager heard my name once and called me by it the entire evening, even remembered the second night! Could not recommend a place more. Amazing food, amazing staff.“
“Stopped by when I was passing through Cortland. It's a cool dive bar. Drinks in solo cups, a juke box, and a dart board. I did not eat here so I cannot comment on the quality of the food. The liquor selection was solid and the bartenders were friendly.“
“I have tried all of the local establishments multiple times for wing night, and Mountain View is the winner. They beat the others because they have: consistent taste- fresh oil, and tasty sauce; best deal for your dollar- .50 per good sized wings; and good, timely service. Enjoy!“
“Excellent food, excellent service. It was busy when we sat and we left alone (we both like that when at a new place). I had the Cajun and tiger wings. Cajun wings where perfectly done, but just a little too salty for my liking (only negative about the meal). Tiger wings we're just amazing with chilli with pineapple glaze. Prime rib was perfect.“
“we love that there's still a friendlys around! all staff were great, Tennessee our server was very sweet, accommodating and patient with us, although finding black hair in our food wasn't quite appetizing the rest of the food was delicious. Definitely will be back again!“
“Food was really good and came in a reasonable time for you to talk to family or friends. Servers were very kind and welcoming. There was a bit of a wait time and restaurant was a little packed but makes sense bc it's prob one of the beat places in Cortland. Atmosphere was really chill and the lights def added to the vibe with the live sports for you to watch right from your table.“
“I had the steak and eggs and it was fabulous! The steak was melt in your mouth and seasoned to perfection! It came with not only steak and eggs but also a choice of breakfast potatoes and either toast or a stack of 3 pancakes, all for under $16“
“We were staying at a nearby AirBnB and just happened to drive thru Homer. What a lucky break for us because we ate dinner at Dashers for four nights in a row. The food is fantastic and the staff are super nice. If we ever get up that way again we will certainly stop by. We highly recommend it.“
