“With how busy this place was, our food came out pretty quick and it was honestly all very good. My only (very) small complaint about the food was my burgers bottom bun was a bit soggy from the juicy burger patty. Service from our waitress was good. The people at the front desk were a bit scattered. My biggest complaint from the overall experience was the bowling lanes didn’t offer computerized score keeping. To me, a key part of bowling is the competitiveness. If you want to keep score, you’re given a pen and paper… how can you possibly track pins when you can’t see if a pin is up behind a front pin? Hopefully they get with the times on that eventually. Aside from this, the overall experience was great and again, the food was surprisingly great. Definitely worth checking out.“
“After attending a Memorial nearby, this was my wife and my first time at Trumansburg Golf Course. We were extremely satisfied with this course! Course layout was fun for any skill level and we really enjoyed the rolling scenery of the course. Greens were fun and in good condition. Club house staff were great to meet and professionals from the start!! We'd go back to TGC a million times!!“
“Nice diner type restaurant. Homemade bread looked very good on the sandwiches. My mother-in-law ordered the carrot cake which she liked. I did not see nor were we offered kids menus. The waitress did bring a coloring book and crayons for the kids to color in which was nice but not everyone would appreciate that it was already colored on most pages. But the restaurant was cozy and clean, wait staff was friendly and food was good enough.“
“We had an incredible stay at the Parkview house next to the Inn. Beautiful room with a spa bath and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! Site director Michael was so warm and made us feel so welcome— we will absolutely be back to stay here again in the future.“
“What a fabulous winery! We loved visiting here on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed all of their wines, including whites, reds, and bubbly wines! Matthew was the best wine educator, giving us a great description of each wine so we could better enjoy it. Cheers to this winery!“
“The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Aurora Salad, Brisket, and smoked wings. Staff was wonderful and answered all our foodie questions. We topped off our meal with mini carrot cakes, which were out of this world!! We ended up buying a couple for the road.“
“Had a good experience with the fish fry and fried mushrooms. As others have said, their reliance on single use plastic prevents me from wanting to go often, but I'm excited to stop by in the summer and sit by the lake. The crowd was a lot more college/frat oriented than I expected, but everyone was respectful. There were families there as well.“
“Very impressive. I've just begun to look for something better than Schweppes and Canada Dry to go with my rye whisky. I have a feeling I'd be wasting my time looking further than Ithaca Ginger Beer. I'd like a little more fizz but the tingle it leaves on the tongue afterwards is fantastic! It certainly makes me want to try the Root Beer!“
“Update: Under new ownership. "Let the Kitchen Decide" is no longer an option. They are a different restaurant under the same name. Service is still wonderful. I do recommend a reservation. Making one on the website was easy. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The price last night for an appetizer, two entrees, dessert, and 3 alcoholic drinks was $140. It might be pricier than some restaurants, but it's very much worth it. The portions were large enough that we both took about 33% of our entrees home. The food is on another level. Many complex flavors that don't overpower the dish; and unique ingredients in a novel presentation. All of the ingredients are sourced locally, as well. This will continue to be a favorite restaurant for us. Bumped 1 Star off the atmosphere, because it was a little loud. That's likely because there were so many people celebrating birthdays. I think they said 10 or 11 of the tables had them. Also, they don't do Specials because the menu is updated daily!“
