“Man, I love this place. Was recommended by a friend who knows the area well. Had never been before even though this is apparently an old school staple. Reminded me of some of the seafood places I went to as a kid on Long Island. The fish is fresh and delicious, well priced and well portioned. The sides are simple (e.g. sauteed spinach, baked potato, etc.) but well done. Loved the baked clams and chowder, too. Service is fantastic and incredibly accomplished-- can't speak highly enough of the staff. Can't wait to return!“

“I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

My friend and I were deep in conversation and lost track of time, but they never rushed us to leave. I will definitely be coming back and will make a reservation next time (we were lucky to get seats with no wait just by walking in)!“

“Went to my great nieces birthday and Baptism; Charlotte is 1 year old! Apparently, Wellington Grill is being rented as a special catering event location.
Very clean, lots of windows, 2 large rooms including a full bar on one side. A couple of areas for hors douerves and buffet or sit down dinner.
Food was amazing! You choose the menu!

“I bought my turkey 🦃 at the Market at Gus’s. I asked Peter the butcher to debone and butterfly it. It was hands down the most delicious turkey we have ever had! It was so tender that you didn’t even need a fork! My 93 year old dad said that he never had a better turkey! And he’s had a lot of turkeys! 😆 we will be buying all our turkeys at Gus’s from now on! Of course we love their seafood and meats as well!“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!!
All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event.
Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant.

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!“

“I've been visiting Johnny's for over 30+years. Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“First time at Kee's & it was a great experience. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. No crowds, easy parking. Food was very good except lobster bisque soup very salty. Raw clams excellent as were the baked clams. Salmon & branzino dishes also excellent. Service was A+“

“Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“We had a great night at Lenny's Steakhouse with my wife and son. The restaurant was packed, yet the service was smooth and welcoming. Shpresa, the hostess and owner, runs the room beautifully and sets the tone for the entire experience. “Wow Wow Wow, Need I say more. My wife and I came down to city Island to try The Famous Sammy's. We traveled from Atlanta Georgia and had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Some of the most nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Now let me tell you, This is not your ordinary sea food. This food is above all others. I can go on and on about the food just by the reviews will tell you. Just put it this way I will be back on jan 3 for my Birthday 🎈. See you guys then.“

“This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Things were screwed up from beginning to end with absolutely no sense of apology or remorse. We had a 630 reservation, showed up on time, but we weren't seated until almost 7pm. The waiter came to our table for the first time at 720pm. We had researched the menu ahead of time to make sure there were kid friendly options, but since it was Mother's Day, they were operating with a different menu which is totally fine. We asked the waiter if they had any kid friendly food that wasn't on the menu and he said no and that all we can get is what's listed on the menu, so we went ahead and ordered. About 20 mins after we ordered, we saw that the kids at the table next to us were eating chicken fingers and french fries, so we asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about that option. He said that we didn't ask and he got a bit of an attitude about it. Luckily he was able to change our order and the kids got chicken tenders. We waited patiently for an incredibly long time for our food to come out, and at about 830, I got up and asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and he again gave me an attitude like I was ruining his night and he said "soon". The food came out about 2 minutes later, so we were hopefully going to get on with our evening. Upon further inspection, the chicken tenders that they delivered to my daughter were RAW. Not just slightly under cooked, completely raw, pink, cold chicken. We called the waiter over again and he again had an attitude when we sent the food back. Again, not even a hint of an apology to be found. When the chicken came back out, it was completely burnt, but we decided it wasn't worth the time to talk to the waiter about it again. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours with a 5 and 8 year old kid, so we just wanted to be done and get out. Again, at no point during this experience did a single person offer an apology or even show an ounce of remorse for how terrible the service was. They ruined my wife and mother-in-law's Mother's Day dinner and they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. We are a local family, but we will never go back there again. I will also make it a point to tell everyone I know that Caffe Regatta is a terrible restaurant.“

“Great food but terrible customer service I absolutely love your restaurant the food is amazing! But honestly, some of your staff could really use hospitality training. There’s no reason I should be leaving upset just because an employee didn’t want to serve me over something as small as extra gravy. Without customers, there wouldn’t even be a business, so the service needs to reflect that.“
