“Love this place! Went to lunch- they have $15 (11-3) menu with lots to choose from, $5 beers and $2 oysters. Everything was great. I had the flounder fillet sandwich, comes slaw and chips. Totally recommend it. Also, great views of the LI Sound.“

“I first visited this restaurant when they opened in 2016. A decade later, I happened to be visiting the area and stopped off here for lunch with my boyfriend. I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch.
The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out.
This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked.
A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options.“

“First time dinning- first off the pita with cheese and grilled green peppers is an amazing start to the meal. I had an aperol spritz also great to start. For apps we had oysters- was really good but would love if they would add a mignonette. For my main course though the red snapper was FANTASTIC. And the chicken martini was also fantastic. We didn't stay for dessert but will certainly be back, the service was very kind and attentive. The ambiance was nice with the view of the fountain.“

“Great location in a lively, redeveloped section of Stamford. We had an event with a fixed price menu and each course was amazingly good. Come hungry, because they give you a lot of food. Apps, salad, pasta and main courses were all wonderful. Great service and a great view of the harbor. Not sure if it is open to the public, but if it is, check it out.“

“I've been dining at the Capital Grille for years. We usually dine here on special occasions and it never disappoints. The filet mignon is delicious and lobster mac and cheese. Service is above and beyond. Our water glasses were constantly being filled and someone would come to check on us in case we needed anything. It's definitely a great dining experience.“

“An unexpected seafood find in Mamaroneck! This place has it all—fresh seafood, prepared seafood, a sushi counter, and seafood cooked to order.

I usually prefer a Connecticut-style lobster roll, but since I was taking it to the pool, I went with the Maine-style cold lobster salad. It was delicious! BIG chunks of lobster, just the right amount of mayo, and a buttery roll toasted perfectly—crispy, golden, and sturdy enough to hold all that lobster.

I also tried the Lady Dragon Roll (I believe that was the name), made fresh while I waited. Shrimp tempura inside with spicy salmon on the outside—so good!

There are a few tables inside and outdoor patio seating, making it a great spot for a casual seafood lunch. I also noticed they run specials, so check their social media. The day I visited, a lobster roll with fries and coleslaw was around $29.95.“

“I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

My friend and I were deep in conversation and lost track of time, but they never rushed us to leave. I will definitely be coming back and will make a reservation next time (we were lucky to get seats with no wait just by walking in)!“

“I have been going here with my family as long as I was able to eat sushi. This place is one of my favorite restaurants. It feels like a slice of Japan dropped into downtown Stamford. The food is always incredible and the service always makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is so cozy too. I love this restaurant.
