“I first visited this restaurant when they opened in 2016. A decade later, I happened to be visiting the area and stopped off here for lunch with my boyfriend. I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch.
The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out.
This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked.
A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options.“

“First time dinning- first off the pita with cheese and grilled green peppers is an amazing start to the meal. I had an aperol spritz also great to start. For apps we had oysters- was really good but would love if they would add a mignonette. For my main course though the red snapper was FANTASTIC. And the chicken martini was also fantastic. We didn't stay for dessert but will certainly be back, the service was very kind and attentive. The ambiance was nice with the view of the fountain.“

“My wife and I arrived in Tarrytown for a family wedding too late for lunch and several hours early for an 8 pm welcome reception, so along with my sister and her husband, we decided to go out for some light eats to hold us over. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Pete's Saloon.

We loved it immediately.

The vibe was a step back into the past. In a good way. It's a welcoming place -- the kind of local bar and grill where regulars gather for good food, good friends, cold drinks and (from the looks of the drum kit set up in the back of the room) some great live music.

As for the food, it definitely hit the spot. My wife had a bowl of french onion soup and I had the fried chicken sliders with a tangy Korean BBQ sauce and tater tots. My sister had the baked potato soup while my brother-in-law had the fried chicken sliders with Buffalo sauce. The beer was cold, our server Kim was intentive and friendly and the experience was a great start for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends!“

“We had another wonderful family dinner at Mardino's last night. After 30 years and innumerable wonderful dinners I never get tired of the excellent food and service. It's like going home again. You're treated warmly and with respect and everything is always great, especially the stuffed lobster. I would rather dine at Mardinos than any other restaurant I have ever dined. “Food is good location sucks. If this place does not last I know it is because of parking. I tried to place an order online, their online system seems to be broken. My card was charged but the transaction did not go through. I then called and placed the order with intentions to prepay but that was not an option for pick up orders, I was told you have to pay at the store. The staff was kind. However there is NO parking in the area and this was a big negative. Their site offered curbside pickup however there is no standing in front of the business.

Parking: Street meter parking as well as distanced parking garages located in busy downtown white plains.“

“Seeking gourmet level Chinese cuisine brought me to Mister Chen’s Seafood & Bar. Their extensive menu confirmed my next dinner destination.

My luck continued as upon arrival @7 Sat night there was plenty of seating. Immediately seated, I began the tough choice of so many unique preparations!

My choices included Fresh Seafood & Bean Curd Soup, Chicken & Broccoli, Beef w Szechuan Chili Spiced Onions, House Style Singapore Noodles.

The soup was subtle & delicious, slightly different appearance from menu. Some chili oil & soy sauce made it just right for my palate. The Beef was really tasty & well seasoned, subtle flavors with familiar spices & some mysterious undertones. Chicken broccoli was a great version of a popular combination. The Singapore Mei Fun noodles had an emphasis of curry which was unexpectedly inspired yet did not match my taste. It may have been slightly over seasoned for my liking.

Overall an excellent choice for inspired Chinese cuisine food! Returning soon!!!“

Took me 7 minutes to order a cheeseburger, couldn't make it into a meal unless I chose a specific restaurant... its all being made in the same kitchen, people like me do not care about the name associated with it. “Been many times before and all experiences have been great. This past weekend, I had an issue with inattentive service, extremely salty food (the LillGriddle Sandwich), and not the best experience. Drinks were great, however, everything took way too long and the food didn't deliver.“

“Bon Ton is the only supplier we have used continuously for our 30+ years as Pasta Nostra, now bruculino restaurant. Why, when any number of wholesale suppliers offer lower prices? Because Tony -- and Howard before him -- consistently deliver the finest fish and seafood available, allowing us to serve our customers the same top quality as offered by such NYC restaurants as Milos and Le Bernardin.
