“I have been to some great places but this is the best place I've been to in New York, hands down. Every single menu item was AMAZING! Farm to table at its best. And the chef is a super friendly great guy and the waiter was awesome. My new go to spot!“

“Came here for brunch, I really enjoyed the variety that they had on the menu along with the kids Menu. The atmosphere is cozy and clean with excellent service. We had a large group with kids, it was nice that it wasn't too busy and staff didn't seem to mind that the kids were wandering around because they can't sit still. We also stayed for quite a bit of time. The staff was attentive and food was reasonably priced.“

“This is a good chain with consistent Burgers and decent Fries, but the winner is the chicken sandwich and Gluten free fried chicken and collard green wraps.
The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“We were greeted by the owner who came out to let us know it was going to be a very long wait which was very nice. Once in the place was very warm and inviting. The atmosphere was great. The staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food....oh my goodness the food was worth the wait. “I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

They make atuff fresh, so there is a wait. Prices were reasonable, and we definitely got our money's worth. “Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

Very clean, lots of windows, 2 large rooms including a full bar on one side. A couple of areas for hors douerves and buffet or sit down dinner.

“Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

“Our waitress appeared to be in a bad mood, not welcoming at all. The food was awful. My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

“Decor probably hasn't changed in 40 years, which is part of its charm. Really good food (try the chicken scarp), and drinks. Prices are as low as you can get. If it's crowded expect a very slow kitchen.“
