But two guys who work there always nice with me. Orders always ready for pick up, drinks always fixed in the cart box.
Pick up counter always clean.
Sometimes I’m using a restroom (I’m sorry): it’s always clean.
I think, guys taking care of the place.
Maybe sometimes they are looking tired.
But they are hard workers.

“When I moved to New York, I lived upstairs to an Italian Deli. After moving to Greenwich, I have been looking for a deli that would match it. A friend recommended Firehouse...and THIS IS IT! We have been ordering now for several months. You can taste the pride. Prices are more than fair and the portions (especially the wedges) are outstanding. This is the real deal. Love their meatball Parm wedge, the Mr. G's wedge...hell, everything I've tried has been good. My wife loves their fish sandwich, too, so it's a winner all around...it's all great.“

It is a takeout place so don't expect the ambiance of a restaurant. However, the owner is super friendly.

They don’t seem bothered to be there and they’re glad you stopped by. In repetitive conversation (that comes along with multiple visits), you see they are exceptional human beings. The service is top notch and the food is great, always fresh. Clean store too. If this location isn’t his/theirs, I hope they franchise their own location soon. They deserve that and more.“

But I was presently surprised this is actually a very nice Subway the guy working at the counter was very friendly and they had everything we wanted. The food is good the service is good only thing I can complain about is it doesn't have a restroom but honestly with that small of a space I wouldn't expect it to have a restroom“

“I brought 2 blimpies best sandwiches. I was so happy when I realized there is a blimpies 2 minutes from Montefiore hospital. I haven't had my favorite sandwich in years. Blimpies seems to be housed in other stores. Before this time, I found it in a twin donut on 161st and it was 16 dollars. The one on Gunhill and Bainbridge Avenue is in a store named Tasty Picks and was the normal 13 dollars.“

I’ve been going here for 13 years and I do admit the quality has dropped a tiny bit but I think that’s due to the surge in online ordering post Covid combined with them being short staffed. The bagels are still the best outside of NYC/Long Island and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious.“

“This is maybe the only subway I've ever gone to that regularly seems overstaffed, not horribly understaffed. This place will get busy but they work hard to keep it moving. Always ready with pickup orders and have a good track record for accuracy. This is a solid franchise location.“

“Crystal is a true leader and customer experience ChAMPION! Ordering online was challenge. I was ordering for 14 people.. I called the location for help. The man that answered offered me his bosses cell number as my order was to BIG to take during the “lunch rush” hour . I was placed on hold and Crystal joined the call. She offered solutions, looked for ways to help and most importantly was able to complete my order with a smile. The team of people working when I arrived were all very nice and asked Crystal how they can help with the large order. I was very satisfied with the service and treatment at the Subway. “This place is an awesome and convenience spot and that has great hours. I believe they are 6 or 7:00 a.m. until midnight which is rare these days. And being that my boat is in a marina right down the block it is a truly wonderful place to have. The store is extremely clean. The food is fresh. The beverage selections are great and they even carry ice. What more can you ask for“
