“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“I have to admit, I cheated on you guys and wondered off to Rudy’s… I’m sorry but their sauce tastes like they just dumped it out of a store brand jar …biggest regret EVER!! I’m here at Carmine And Rays for the Margherita pies any and every time! The sauce is the most authentic flavorful taste and closest to my Italian grandmas I can get in the area. “My husband and I went for dinner. We had a reservation and was greeted by the hostess, Madeline, who sat us right away. She was such a delight. She checked on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well. The chef also came to say hello and to make sure everything was to our liking. It totally was!! We ordered too much food because it was hard to decide on one thing. Shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers. So good! Each was more than enough for two people! We ordered dinner from the 'specials' menu. Hubby had the 12oz grilled ribeye... and couldn't eat it all. I ordered the beef short ribs...sooo tender! Everything was delicious, including the drinks! The servers were awesome and very attentive! We'll definitely be back!!“

The owner is always here making the place feel like your favorite New York cafe. Place is really clean and just a beautiful space to hang in with high ceiling and big beautiful French style windows. Outdoor seating transports you from the suburbs to the Hamptons! Love this place!!!!“

“I have been looking for a vegan bakery for the longest and finally stumbled upon Flourish Baking company. Sent an email and got a quick response from Diane. She was so kind, understanding and overall so helpful. The cake was delicious and the cupcakes as well!! I gave gluten sensitivity & they have the personal cauliflower crust pizza! It's the best pizza around. Always greeted with a smile! If you haven't tried Dom & Vinnies pizza, you are missing out!“

“This is a good chain with consistent Burgers and decent Fries, but the winner is the chicken sandwich and Gluten free fried chicken and collard green wraps.
The shakes are decent but $11 .
No frills decent bar but gluten free buns are little too thick that takes away from the burger..“

“Cassie’s has always been a place close to my heart. I always go there for dinner with my family and they are my go-to for catering events. However, last week I hosted my first big event at the restaurant after my daughter’s baptism and I found them to be equally as amazing. We ordered the event package, which included appetizers, pizza, salads, pasta and an entree. It was all delicious! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were exceptional. All of my guests said they enjoyed their time there and said they plan to return. I especially want to thank Douglas, our main server of the night, who went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied and happy. He was kind, professional and quickly completed every request that was made. I also want to thank Joshua who helped arrange the event and was very understanding and accommodating to our large group’s diverse needs. The Cassie’s staff made our event memorable and we are so grateful for them. Cassie’s is a great place to share with family and friends and I highly recommend everyone try them soon!“
