The atmosphere is fantastic especially in the bar area with a view of the river and bridge. Overall this is one of the best taverns I have ever been to.“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! “My boyfriend and I went to this place for dinner. I have to say we had one of the most delicious meals ever. We started with the Tuna Carpaccio and a dozen Oysters on the half shell. The Tuna was beautifully presented and delicious as were the Oysters. We had huge hot popovers served with a honey butter which were mouthwatering. We also tried the Crab Cake which was one of the best I have ever had. The Crab was fresh, and the tarter sauce was very light and didn't over power the Crab, For dinner we decided on the Roasted Chicken with watercress and the Butter Brown Spinach Ravioli. They were both amazing and the presentation was absolutely exquisite down to the garlic shaves on top of the watercress. For dessert my boyfriend had the Chocolate Sorbet and I enjoyed the Toasted Almond Ice cream as well as the fresh baked cookies with milk. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the meal. The Ice Cream and Sorbet were delicious and the freshly baked warm cookies with milk were scrumptious. Everything was homemade and you can tell how much love goes into the food here. The server we had Mae was friendly, smiling all the time, very attentive and made our time there so nice. A special thank you also to Kerri Casso who is the Service Manager there. I know her from her previous job and Kerri is the reason we tried this place. She checked on us several times and made sure we were happy. Thank you to Mae, Kerri, Sunny and everyone there who made our meal enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“Came here for brunch, I really enjoyed the variety that they had on the menu along with the kids Menu. The atmosphere is cozy and clean with excellent service. We had a large group with kids, it was nice that it wasn't too busy and staff didn't seem to mind that the kids were wandering around because they can't sit still. We also stayed for quite a bit of time. The staff was attentive and food was reasonably priced.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“We passed on our way from the airport to drop off our daughter at the WPntrain station. Allot of locals and it is apparent customers have been coming for years. They make atuff fresh, so there is a wait. Prices were reasonable, and we definitely got our money's worth. There are some apaces to sit outside under umbrellas, was too hot for that on that day though. Would go again!“

“Decided to try this place after seeing the Instagram video. Food is excellent (as promised) and Sandra (host) is wonderful. Rotisserie chicken is cooked to perfection. Wife had the roasted salmon, which was also great. Add some of the delicious sides (crispy brussel sprouts and plantains) and you have yourself a great meal for a reasonable price. Give this new local gem a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

“Best onion rings in the Hudson Valley! I've eaten here several times now and the food is outstanding. Come hungry because all portions are big. They don't just pile it on though. Every plate comes out very well presented. The lamb burger is my favorite but those fish tacos are a close second.“

“A great local spot for a night out with friends or a date night. The cocktails are absolutely delicious - the pear martini and the espresso martini were both to die for. The menu has plenty of shareable plates, which makes it perfect for trying a little bit of everything.

It can get busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation, but even when it’s packed, the staff does a great job of fitting you in. Overall, an excellent choice for a fun, flavorful night out!“

“First time in the restaurant and dined in. I ordered steak 🥩 but was given a big slab of burger. I was disappointed and told them I didn’t order ground beef I wanted steak. You cannot confuse me with food I’m a foodie I know what I want. I asked them to give me a real piece of meat steak and they did. I wasn’t rude or anything I just didn’t expect to be given that kind lol. If I wanted a burger 🍔 I would’ve ordered burger. It’s obviously not a steak they should change the description of that menu item if that’s the case. Don’t dupe me with something I didn’t ask for and cover it with sauces and mountain of sides. Anyway, they were nice enough to change it the way I asked. I appreciated that. Thank you for your service and kind understanding!“

“Went to my great nieces birthday and Baptism; Charlotte is 1 year old! Apparently, Wellington Grill is being rented as a special catering event location.
Very clean, lots of windows, 2 large rooms including a full bar on one side. A couple of areas for hors douerves and buffet or sit down dinner.
Food was amazing! You choose the menu!

The event was set up beautifully, the food was good and the waitstaff were on point and helpful. it was a great great time. “Our waitress appeared to be in a bad mood, not welcoming at all. The food was awful. My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

“Randomly found ourselves in the Barley House while on a weekend get away. The place is beautifully decorated and the design of the bar, lighting, etc was very impressive. We had some house mixed drinks, followed by some cold drafts. The food was served with great timing and was absolutely delicious. The price of wings were a little higher than anywhere else, BUT they were absolutely delicious.“
