“Pretty solid quality food and prepped just the way I like. Chicken is well seasoned but not over done, lamb is cut into fine pieces. Pita was nice and fresh.There are more options than the standard chicken and rice.It was my first time here so I hope the quality is consistent unlike most halal carts I frequent.“

Asking for extra rice on your platter is free.I recommend the chicken platter or the combo platter.The falafel pieces are puck-shaped. They are very crunchy on the outside, and are quite good by themselves without needing to add sauces.The dessert kheer is also quite tasty, and the Baklava is flaky and sweet, with plenty of nuts.Yasir (one of the employees) is very friendly and remembers repeat customers.“

“Came here around 12:45Am and got a triple mix platter. Just finished eating it and it was by far the best halal I’ve had. None of the other halal spots in the area even come close. On top of that the dude who served me and cooked the food was extremely nice and helpful. Even at midnight, the food was hot and cooked fresh. Will definitely be coming back here often“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

Derricka was very kind by recommending the loaded fries and the sauce to use. I don’t regret eating such tasteful meal. It was fire halhal bros rosedale at all times. “The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“Came in once last week and once yesterday, a bit later during the night. Since it was this late on a Sunday I didn’t expect the food to taste that fresh. Despite this, I still got my order tasting fresh and arriving quick (<5 mins) and could see workers diligently cleaning in the kitchen and a younger man wiping down all the tables, sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathroom. I had went inside the bathroom after he was done and it was spotless, something I would never expect to see from a fast food place. The manager was very nice and I could tell he’s trained his workers well. Will be coming agian.“

“Halal Mix on Hillside Avenue in Queens just across the Nassau/Queens border is amazing. Restaurant is super clean, seating is ample and comfortable and the customer service is consistently top notch and impeccable. We have been here multiple times and cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The chicken quesadillas are freshly made right in front of you and are always super fresh and delicious. The burritos and Philly Steak and Cheese also fresh and delicious. The chicken and rice bowls also equally fresh and delicious. If you have not yet tried Halal Mix, I recommend you try it as soon as possible. Super highly recommended!“
