“Nick was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, polite, and had such a great attitude from start to finish. Not only was he incredibly nice, but he was also impressively fast — our drinks and food came out in record time without ever feeling rushed. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in just the right amount. You can tell he really cares about providing great service. Honestly, one of the best waiters we’ve had in a long time. “OMG if you are in the area, PLEASE give this place all your money! you will wait for a seat but baby it's well worth it!!!! you will leave with leftovers and will go back when in the area!!! it's Aahhhmazing! and it's family run and me and my girls went for a mommy daughter trip for a concert and it was a wonderful start to our second day!“

“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️“

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. Thank for for a great dining experience.“

“Great little diner with a good choice of dishes, and super presentation. Had the meatloaf dinner and it was such a unique flavor! Not world changing, but it stands out enough to remember it. The prices were modest and the servers were super! For a diner, this is a darn good spot.“

“I’ve only had breakfast here but everything I've had has been excellent. The French toast is delicious. The coffee is as good as I've ever had.
My server made me feel very comfortable.
I look forward to going back to try dinner.

“It's a basic diner. Breakfast food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The waitress was quite busy and never brought a condiment I requested and we had to flag her down for the check despite being finished eating for a good amount of time. They recently renovated and the interior has no diner charm, it's just fairly generic but clean looking.“

“"We have been enjoying the Massapequa Diner for over 20 years, their food is always amazing and the warm hospitality of their staff and owners. We have dined at the diner for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we truly appreciate the benefits of supporting a local business. Although we should have written this review earlier, it took the loss of my wallet to make us realize how grateful we are for the diner's honesty and integrity. Yesterday, my husband and I had lunch at the diner, but later that night, I discovered that I had misplaced my wallet. Today, I received a phone call from Mike, the owner, informing me that someone on his staff had found my wallet. Nick held my wallet in his office to ensure its safety until I arrived. I was relieved to find that everything was untouched and still inside. We cannot thank the staff and owners of the Massapequa Diner enough for their honesty and kindness. We will continue to be loyal customers of this wonderful establishment."“

“was there this afternoon. Had a very enjoyable meal. wife had a brisket plate and me chopped steak. Have enough left over for another meal. Food was brought to our table hot , and with plenty of meat. Even the Greek salad was good and fresh. Waitress and other staff very attentive and place was clean. Will be back“

“It is a tradition old time confectionary shop you just don’t see anymore. You don’t even need a menu everything is deckhouse. Their breakfasts foods are my ultimate faves but it’s all good. Their ice creams and homemade chocolate is like no other. The self distancing and mask 😷 rules are practiced to the maximum. Very safe place to eat inside. Very self distanced.“

“Smaller than some of the other diners around the area but to me seems to have slightly edgier food quality, worth the money over IHOP nearby. Portions are big enough even for 2 that don’t eat massive. Enjoy their good service and food with every visit.“

“My father and I visited for the first time. We live very locally and have been curious to try it. We were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly and served attentively. The atmosphere is charming and kept very clean. My dad ordered the French toast deluxe and truly enjoyed it. It was fluffy, juicy, and satisfying. I had the Mediterranean omelette. It was very flavorful and fluffy as well. Not every diner is created equal. The lovely woman behind the counter told us this establishment is at least 60 years old. It's such a slice of nostalgia. We had an even better experience than we anticipated. I hope they are a mainstay for years to come. What a treat. Really looking forward to our next breakfast there!“
