“Awesome service from start to finish! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in the food they serve.
I ordered the gyro, and without a doubt, it was the best gyro I've ever had! The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with incredible flavor. My favorite part was the tzatziki, they definitely don't skimp on it! They generously slather the gyro with fresh, creamy tzatziki, making every bite absolutely delicious.
My husband ordered the chicken bowl, and it was just as impressive. The rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and had the perfect crispy finish. We also tried the lemon potatoes, and they were phenomenal, soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with bright lemon flavor.
Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and prepared with care. The portions were generous, prices were fair, and the quality exceeded our expectations. This place has officially become one of our favorite spots, and we'll definitely be coming back again and again. “The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. We purchased the small garden salad, with its generous portions of feta cheese, Romaine/ iceberg lettuce, and sliced tomatoes. We chose the protein add-ons, of fresh, grilled salmon, and, falafel.
All, were very satisfying.
We also had rice pilaf, as well as hummus, and tzatziki dips.
We liked the rice, and dips, which complemented the warm, wheat pitas.

We will continue to patronize this establishment, for its appetizing food.“

“Shah Halal is an amazing halal option. Especially the Farmingdale branch. They always provide extremely satisfying hot and fresh food. Thanks to my boy Shuaib. After a long tiring day of shopping, we were really hungry and we did not think twice. We headed over to Shah Halal.

“I went to check out the new location in Levittown after they closed their spot in Mineola. The new place looks great—clean, spacious, and welcoming.

I ordered my food to go, and it was ready by the time I got there. Everything was hot, freshly made, and delicious. I got the chicken souvlaki with grilled veggies, and it came with a small Greek salad. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth.

The lamb gyro was also really good—tender, well-seasoned, and stuffed with meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and pickup was easy. Definitely worth the trip.“

“Rave review for Mediterranean Kebab House in Westbury. My husband and I went out to lunch with friends from Turkey. The problem was that our interpreter could not make it. My husband called the Restuarant to make reservations and asked if there was someone there that could help with the translating. Google is not always accurate. The person that answered the phone was the owner. He said that he would translate for us. He came to our table and translate for our group almost the entire time that we were there, while also taking care of his our clientele. The food was superb! We feasted on- Mediterranean salad Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, onions topped with feta cheese mixed with olive oil, vinegar, juice dressing. Family plate Chicken chops, chicken Shish, lamb Shish, lamb Adana, chicken Adana, lamb gyro, rice Mixed appetizers Hummus, babaganoush, eggplant salad, sauced eggplant and stuffed grape leaves.“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“
