“We had the buffalo chicken pizza, ham and pepperoni roll, and the ravioli dinner (yum, with mozzarella cheese and sauce on top). All were excellent. We did a pick-up order, and noticed when we got home that the salad was missing that went with the ravioli dinner. We called, and what seemed like only moments after I put down the phone, the doorbell rang with the salad and bread and apologies delivered -- great service!“

“What a find! Our group was in town for a cross country meet and after reading the great reviews we decided to give Wagon Wheel a try. First, the owner (Pete) is extremely kind, professional and went above and beyond for us. When I went in to place the order it was so nice to learn it was a multi generation business and his father handmade all of the tables and booths. “Finally tried this place after passing by many times on our trips to Eastdale. The food was fantastic! The menu is a bit limited to 2 appetizers, a handful of salads, and a good variety of 9 pizzas, with a great variety of toppings offered. Yes, it's pricey. You don't go to Eastdale expecting a bargain. When I looked online prior to visiting, it appeared that they also offered some dessert, but I also had absolutely no room left for dessert. Drinks are basic beers/wines and sodas. I would skip the rose next time. I paid $11 for a single glass when a bottle retails for $13.99, but that's true of any restaurant. We started out with the cheese/olives/meat and jam app, which was really plentiful for 3 people. For pizzas, we had the grana Padano pie and added pepperoni and the Hot Honey pie. Both pies were absolutely delicious and were more than enough for two adults and one child. Before ordering, we asked how big the pies are, so they gave us a good estimate. One pie would not have been enough. The pies are bigger than personal sized pizzas, but they are not as large as a typical carry out pizzeria pizza. Overall, the food was really delicious, and the pizzas were perfectly cooked, and the hot honey pie was absolutely fantastic. It was a great mix from the salty meat, the sweet/hot honey and the roasted garlic. When we are in the mood for sit down, slightly more upscale pizza, we will definitely return.“

Usually burgers are very fast, pizza takes a bit longer, and Rossie's or noodles takes the longest (during busy times over 30 minutes).Speaking of Rossie's, if you've had the real deal than don't bother getting it here. This is still Sodexo making it, they just have access to the same ingredients and recipes. Also they're missing roast beef so you can't get the best thing Rossie's has anyways.Very strong vegetarian options if you don't mind eating the same thing a lot. The tofu for the noodles isn't anything to write home about and sometimes you'll need to break it up and let it warm up in the broth for a bit, but it's still pretty dang good.Top choices would be:1. Both the chowder and stuffed clams had big, tasty pieces of clam. I got the Mac & Cheese with garlic shrimp - there were no less than 20 pieces of roasted cloves which were sweet and delicious. The shrimp was completely deveined and tender. My husband thought the stuffed clams were a little salty, I thought they were perfect, so do what you want with that. “What a Joy to have this place on our way home to Kerhonkson.

We lucked out and landed on a Tuesday in which there is a special promotion for a pie. Not that you need one because the pies at GP are astronomical (and delicious).

I stopped by with my 3yr old and pregnant wife , and we didn't have to break the piggy bank to satisfy our cravings, which were insatiable.

I believe it was the owners who served us then his team mates who were all graceful and professional.

Tell you what, I think we'll stop by again.

Do still have to give less than a 5 due to past issues with this location closing prior to what listed open hours were, as well as being unable to get gluten free pizza later in the evening several times when calling in. (I also can only eat this one single item!) But in spite of the slightly high price for the size, the new dough is a nice compromise- much better than the usual flat/cracker like one of the past.“
