“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“The food was very good. I had mussels which were great and the skirt steak that came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables that was very good. The steak was cooked to my liking. My wife had the Mac & cheese bites and risotto with chicken that was great. Overall the food and server were excellent and I would recommend this place to friends and family.“

I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. I’m sure you don’t have many complaints regarding this issue, but I would love to be able to enjoy your tiki bar/ restaurant once again. Thank you !“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

As this restaurant is about 30 minutes away I might not have gone if I thought that the menu was not correct. It showed a 2lb lobster out of the shell for 50.00 needless to say there was no mention of it on the menu at the restaurant“

“Our family enjoyed a birthday dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Our waiter was so pleasant and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about the ingredients, especially since we had some allergies at the table. The food was spectacular! The strawberry salad was a delicious and fresh way to start my decadent courses. The salmon was divine, accompanied by a heavenly risotto. I know how challenging it is to make a good risotto, and they absolutely nailed it. The chocolate flourless Nutella cake was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. “I want to start by saying the buffalo chicken egg rolls are the best and I mean THE BEST Buffalo chicken egg rolls I have ever had. I got garlic parm wings as my main and they were also delicious. Came on a weekend and it was very busy with live music so make reservations!“

Vegetarian options: Not a veg heavy menu, but I'm sure if you asked for options they would make something for you. It's just that kind of place.

Parking: Parking can be tough, especially on the weekends.

“We had dinner there tonight for the first time and it will not be our last. Absolutely adorable back room ambiance and both the food and the service were fantastic! Bella was our waitress and she was outstanding. Patient, extremely knowledgeable and helped us explaining many menu items helping us make our selections. The food was sooooo good. Homemade cornbread to die for. I would give the truffle macaroni and cheese was a 10!!! The garlic Parmesan wings delicious and also the spinach and artichoke pizzetta. We had white sangria that was awesome as well as apple crumb pie Ala mode. Every single item was really honestly so delicious!!!! We enjoyed our experience and will definite back again!“

“It's just an event space. Perfect for meetings and medium sized events. There was food served but it was catered by someone other then owners.

Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“My family and I went backcountry camping in the wilderness section of the campground. The beach was beautiful with lots of interesting finds from the ocean! It can get very cold and windy, so keep that in mind when planning your attire and camp set up.

We also stumbled across an interesting arrangement of props that could either be a ritualistic site of a religion I don't know about or an art exhibit. Still pretty cool though!“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. Ended up having to order another pie from else where. Checked their website and it doesn't say anything about the size of the pizza either. pizza was good but I feel robbed“
