“Exceptional food. Take out and dine in has been a 10/10. Their pasta is cooked to perfection. Their sauce is phenomenal. I highly recommend villa nigrelli. I come from Long Island where I’ve had my fair share of amazing Italian food and this is definitely in my top 5 places. That’s a big compliment. Seafood was fresh.“

“I’ll never forget that Jan 2021 it was my daughter’s birthday. They were closed due to Covid. But the owners went in, made me a cake and hand delivered it to my front door just so my daughter could have a cake for her birthday. No extra charge and it was same day! Attention like that is what makes a place great and sets them apart. It’ll never be forgotten, always be appreciated and this place will always hold a special place for that.“

“M&J's Catered food for my party, everything was Delicious! I ordered trays of Penna ala vodka, chicken marsala, eggplant rollatini, Walldorf salad, and Chicken Milanese panini. I can't recommend this place enough whether for lunch/dinner or catering events! The chicken Milanese Panini is absolutely amazing!!“

“This is a very nice pizza place, I live down the road and can walk there. The people working there are nice, respectful and are willing to help out their customers. (I was even offered a ride home by the delivery driver when it was raining the other day) The food is delicious and made right, and I get pizza here a lot. Not only are they a pizza place, but they're your typical gas station store where you can get chips, soda, beer and ice cream. They also have a deli.

The only complaint I have is the prices, a large plain pie costs ~$30.00 and the chips are ~$2.70 for a small bag and ~$5.30 for a large.

Still a very nice store and I hope to work there!“

“This is a hidden gem. I grew up in Pk and had never heard of this place, but when I was looking for some quick food in the area I saw their 4.9/5 stars (impressive with 80 reviews!) I expected maybe 12-15) I had to try. My fiancé ordered a pasta dish and I had the goat cheese salad. Our man Cesar was crushing it BY HIMSELF. He was our server AND chef, and this one-man crew made better, hotter, faster food than an entire kitchen team. It was amazing, and on top of all that he was incredibly humble and kind. We’ll be recommending him to anyone and everyone we know in the area!“

“At one time I lived in Poughkeepsie and often frequented the Milanese. The food was outstanding but the accommodations were at the time subpar. Close together seating where neighboring conversations were easily heard. Loud talking diners nearby were often obstusive. I recall a couple were about to be seated when the gentleman curtly told the waitress "If I wanted to sit with those folks I would have come in with them."

Years later still the case. We were seated very close to a table of 5. They were indeed loud talkers and we were uncomfortable until they left about a half hour later.

I got the stuffed shrimp
Delicious! But my side of pasta didn't come until 10 minutes into the meal. That presented another problem. There was one server for the whole dining room. The poor guy was frantically running to and fro like a crazy man. We felt sorry for him

My companion got the lasagne dinner and felt it was very tasty though substantially light on meat.

Generally my return to the Milanese was a disappointment. Uneven food quality and below average seating and poor service.

I doubt I'll be back.

“Had dinner with two close friends. Extremely strong culinary expertise coming out of the kitchen. That was very obvious to me. Had a grilled Caesar salad wedge cut which was absolutely fantastic and unique. Max was our server. Absolutely phenomenal. When we joined our friends getting there he came over and said “ welcome to the party“ This was very unique. Low profile and very classy. He was right on point with steps of service and couldn’t ask for anything more thank you for a fantastic night out. Great job to the whole team!“

“My wife and I recently found this place about a year ago. Have gone 4 times and have had nothing but exceptional service and food. I sort of want to keep this place a hidden gem. They recommend reservations, but walking in should be no issue for a small party of 2-4. However, every time I make a reservation, we are greeted and seated immediately with our table prepared and water already served, which is a nice touch. Not many restaurants actually prepare the table for the reservation that was made previously.Each time we have had the same waiter which has been great. He is always accommodating and polite and attentive. Other staff have also been friendly and kind.Soft butter is always served to go with the delicious bread. The fried calamari is great. The chicken parm is good. My favorite has been the NY Strip with Gorgonzola cheese melted on top. Cooked perfect each time. The cheese gives it a great flavor that just works well together. Had it twice and my wife also had it and it’s delicious each time. And for dessert the tartufo is probably the best I’ve had. Highly recommend.We have decided to make this a place for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversary’s. It’s a place that we truly enjoy and look forward to coming to for years to come. Highly suggest it. Prices are very reasonable. Much more expensive places with mediocre food. This place is worth every penny.“

“We went in to AMA expecting a pizzaria but instead found a beautiful Italian restaurant. They use fresh ingredients to create the most amazing dishes. Our server Libby is a fantastic ambassador for the restaurant - enthusiastic & knowledgable about the menu and ingredients they use. We ordered everything she recommended - eggplant parmesan appetizer, Caesar salad, pesto & burrata pizza and the figura pizza. Every first bite was an "eyes roll back in your head" moment. We took the chocolate mousse cake home for dessert - absolutely delicious. Luckily we have leftovers of everthing to enjoy again! In addition to incredible food, the service was spot on. Libby was attentive and the hostess, Shay, checked in as well. It was a great experience all around. My husband and I are self proclaimed food snobs and we were very impressed. We are looking forward to returning to AMA with friends and trying out some of their other dishes. Everything about AMA is fantastic - atmosphere, service, and incredibly delicious food.“

“The salad was fine. The bow tie pasta was superb and happily there was plenty for leftovers! My redpasta dish would have won rave reviews.. except bow tie took the day.. it was THAT good.

As with Il Figlio, we had salmon again and the battle was a draw. Perfect, meaty, and plenty for day 2.

The service was professional and accomodating (we can be a real PITA). The place was perfectly situated (and attractive) but i would opt for the inside (darker) dining room which had some stunning art work and was more dramatic.

The glass of wine was a welcome relief. It took a few minutes to arrive but to this wine guy it was so nice they opened a fresh bottle rather than a 3 day old pour. And
after Rome and its barely 3 oz pours, this 4-5 oz was such a pleasant surprise! Price was more than fair.

I was shocked by how busy they were on a tuesday.. tough on the boss but wow for all of us! We have rec’d this to our best friends and absolutely will make the one hr drive back for round 2!“

“The food is amazing, some of the best Italian I’ve had in the area. Service was excellent. The only negative is there were visible particles “floaties” of some kind in the tap water they serve. I’d recommend getting the bottled water“

“Food was excellent. Had the swordfish, the crispy polenta appetizer was so tasty. My girl had the crispy chicken with polenta in brown gravy which was really good. Ordered a side of brussel sprouts which were perfect. And topped it off with coffee and Limon cello tartufo ooh wow! This was all for our 1st anniversary and had a great meal. And not to mention our waiter Rich was very helpful and just made the dining experience that much better. More waiters and waitresses need to be like him. Can't wait to go back for another meal.“

“Hands down, the best BBQ chicken pizza I’ve ever had. My whole family loves it. It’s our favorite pizza spot because of it. Only downside is the parking and the staircase when you first walk in(because you can’t push the stroller up it lol) .Only poor experience I had here is , I placed an order, and paid over the phone and asked if they wouldn’t mind bringing it out to the door so I could pull up and not have to take my kids out of the car (with the baby in the car seat lugging that thing down the street & then back with a pizza box in your hands as well as your sons hand - it’s a lot- especially if you don’t get a close parking spot, it’s a busy street) but they said they no longer do curb side pick up…Not the end of the world just annoying.But as far as the BBQ chicken pizza goes - flawless.

Parking: Parking is hard , not a lot of places to park, it’s a very busy street.

“Truly amazing food. We were in the area Saturday and found Gappy’s as a nearby place to eat on our Google map app. We took a chance and could not have been more thrilled. It does not look like a lot in the outside and I think that was appealing to us. We were hungry and tired. The inside was beautiful though. Very very clean. The bartender told us that we could sit anywhere we’d like. She immediately brought us over menus and got us a couple of drinks. The menu was huge and offered so many different dining options that no one could leave there hungry if they tried. I ordered the Gappys sampler appetizer and my husband had the fried ravioli and we split a salad. We probably should have stopped there because we were gently full at that point. Our large pizza came out. We had the meat lovers and added mushrooms and jalapeño peppers. It was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly thin. we were only able to finish less than half of it but did take the rest home. Service was attentive. Prices were great and the food was amazing!!“

Long story short this was my second time ordering there and when I arrived they accidentally misheard my order over the phone (most likely my fault due to poor service) and the gentleman I spoke to was very cool, professional and polite!
