“I just got my Twins 21st Birthday this last Saturday I will say yes I do recommend it because of the delicious food , accommodation, tables set up, bartender and servers ( kind and warm), the bartender was on beyond my expectations but They need to hire another hostess who is willing to help, follow instructions and get better management floors My guests were lost sitting on any table when I approached to her at the beginning of the party with instructions she answered that she won’t need it. That is why the welcome guest part was a COMPLETE DISASTER When we were getting ready for the toast none of us got a glass so I went running to the table to serve the drinks she approached to me saying THATS TOO MUCH ALCOHOL and I looked at her saying I DO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING and my question is WTH you should ask me how I can help you or if you are an experienced hostess you will know what is that for ??? Honestly she did not deserve any tip even tho I did tip her I got extremely dissatisfied with her attitude different relatives and guests asked who is she ?? No smile extremely serious she made my guest so uncomfortable I hope she get better professionally So I will rate this place 3/5“

“Diner vibe. Friendly, helpful servers. Very few tables available at 8pm on a Monday.

We had the burnt broccoli, the TFT (fried tofu) and the Superiority Burger. The highlight for us was the delicious burger. Tasted like a real hamburger at a diner or fast food place. The tofu sandwich was also great. Tangy and crispy. The broccoli was a little too smoky for our palette.

They gave us some Hawaiian Punch and Labneh flavored gelato to try for dessert. Very nice.

Would absolutely come again and try some of the specials.“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“Bassett catered our wedding at 501 union in august and they were amazing! I knew there would be a lot of food but even i was surprised that there was SO much food! By the time the entrees came, some guests were staring at their plates of steak in shock. We got a lot of compliments on the food, which we thought was even better day of than in our tastings. The penne vodka was a standout as well as the pigs in a blanket and coconut chicken during cocktail hour. Frank’s team also did a great job helping move furniture around between the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour.

Frank was excellent to work with ahead of our wedding. My advice for others is to just call to get ahold of him as email isnt always as effective. As the wedding date approached he was constantly available and spoke with our coordinator independently many times, and even told us to call his cell when he was on vacation in case we needed anything in the weeks leading up to our wedding.

Bassett was also one of the only caterers we saw that included tableware and linens which was a huge help and cost savings. Very happy we went with Frank and the team!“

I used the liquid you gave to make it even more moist and have already made blintzes and salad and turkey fried rice with the rest.“

There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

It is chock full of yummy surprises, all arranged beautifully, in perfect condition. There was such a generous amount of food, they could make a meal and still graze after. “Chef David and his team were great, we hired them to do a 22 person dinner party and they were excellent from start to finish. They arrived early to prep and helped setup tables and chairs, bringing a team of 6 or 7 people with them. Our building has a grill area and they cooked the entire meal on the grill, fresh bread, steaks etc and people couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. The room was set up beautifully with pink decor and the room brought tears to many eyes as we threw this fundraiser for an amazing friend of ours. The food was absolutely delicious. We had lemon piccata, pepper steak, sausage and peppers, penne a la vodka plus salad. It was an amazing spread and people went up for seconds. My kids loved the rice in particular and especially the dessert table of pastries and fruit. The bar tender was a sweetheart and their homemade fruit punch is so tasty. “This review is long overdue. However, we are glad we waited because seven (7) months later, we are STILL getting rave reviews from our friends and families about the food at our wedding! We had a VERY difficult venue that required all of our vendors to submit referrals and agree to a multitude of specific rules. Our original caterer cancelled two (2) months out from our wedding date (after a year of planning). We did not know what to do! They had already been approved and accepted by our venue. We were devastated! KRISP quickly reviewed the menu / pricing we had negotiated and budgeted with that caterer. They were SO reassuring, and offered us MORE options for a lower cost. We could not believe it! After experiencing an incredible tasting at their gorgeous venue, we were SOLD! THE FOOD IS UNREAL, seriously! When we were low on alcohol, they ran to the store to ensure that our guests would not notice any lapse! They even secured and stored our cake topper for months after our wedding! Despite coming on board with less than 2 months to prepare, KRISP navigated a VERY difficult venue, provided incredible service and kept all the stress out of our site! If you don't scoop them up while you can, your event will not be as good as it could have been.“
