“We went to hike Kaaterskill and stopped here twice. Not only was the service fast and the food yummy, but they were so hospitable. The first night they helped us get oriented to the village and gave us a run down of what was open/closed/available. The second day, after a couple issues (had some hiking gear stolen), they fed us on the house. It made our day a little bit better and that’s what life is all about. “January 17, 2026, our party of 14 arrived (with a reservation) for my wife's birthday celebration. We were greeted at the door like royalty and enjoyed drinks at the bar before being seated at our table in the back dining area.
Cynthia was assigned to the group and she was superb, answering all our questions and making sure our visit was special.
We remained for 4 hours and Cynthia remained with us and catered to our every need.
Between the 14 of us, we ordered a large variety of dishes ( as well as drinks) and at the end of our night, every member of our party agreed that the Phoenician's food is the best food many of us have had in a very long time.
Thank you to the restaurant for making the celebration one of my wife's best birthdays ever!

“We were going somewhere else until we saw the movement through the window, we decided to stop and to our surprise, live music started, by a phenomenal duo of women. The fast food, despite the limited menu after 8 am, was enough for us. We had the best wine of the trip, the Mark West Pinot noir, from California, I highly recommend it.
