“Delicious! The Lunch Bento Box is huge and very reasonably priced for all that you get. 1st you are served a small mixed greens salad with a very tasty homemade ginger dressing. Next was a bowl of miso soup, also very good. Then a beautiful leaf shaped dish arrived with the most delicious full sized sushi roll. We had the vegetable tempura roll that had tempura broccoli, zucchini and sweet potato in it. After that course, the actual Bento box arrived with sliced NY strip steak teriyaki. Cooked perfectly. There was also a portion of white rice, 3 shumai pieces and if that wasn't enough: there was also a section with tempura shrimp, pumpkin, zucchini and sweet potato. Needless to say we walked out of here stuffed and very satisfied. The price was extremely reasonable for ALL that you get and everything was tasty and fresh. Definitely worth going to. And the restaurant has a very calming decor.“

“This is our FAVORITE place to get Raman! You can’t get any better than this! So delicious, always fresh, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. So many options on the menu, even some great options for Gluten free!! The size of the dishes is so much, we usually end up taking some home, I love it! The kimchi is the best and the crispy chicken bun is so fluffy and the chicken is so crispy! The soup is amazing and it fits perfectly with the toppings. It’s a very quick wait, always less than 10 minutes! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

I’ve also ordered dinner several times and especially love the Japanese fried chicken and crispy tuna. The salmon bento box is another favorite of mine. “My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

We were greeted warmly upon entry and immediately served tea and a wide assortment of banchan (the tiny side dishes). We started with Pajeon (seafood & green onion pancake) and honestly I’ve had this in countless places and it was the best Pajeon I have ever had- not soggy at all, and the seafood was tender and not annoyingly chewy. Also had the Japchae (excellent), Combo #1 (LA Galbi Short Rib and and soft tofu stew) and a summer special of chilled buckwheat noodles. The portions were generous and the wait staff really were attentive and so helpful. The place has a homey feel like you’re at your favorite auntie’s house. 10/10, no notes, this will be in my heavy rotation.“

“I want to love this restaurant because I find it to be one of the better Korean restaurants on LI. I have enjoyed many of the apps and grilled dishes. My biggest issue is the soups and jigaes are disappointing. They are so under flavored. Korean stews and soups should be rich with flavor and spice, please don’t hold back on this. 🙏“
