“My God… Chongqing Lao Zao might be the best Chinese hot pot I’ve ever had. And if you’ve seen my other reviews, you know I’ve eaten at A LOT of hot pot places. 😂 This one seriously impressed me.
The entrance is actually pretty small and very easy to miss, but once you walk through that door… WOW. It feels like you just stepped into a Chinese palace. The decorations, the details, the atmosphere—everything is beautiful. Before we even started eating, I was already walking around looking at everything.
Then there’s the service. Next level. The servers were so attentive that they basically wouldn’t let us lift a finger. 😂 Plates cleared, broth checked, food taken care of—they were always there without making us feel rushed. That kind of service really changes the whole experience.
And of course, the hot pot itself was incredible. Rich, authentic flavors and exactly what I want when I’m craving real Chinese hot pot. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with this atmosphere and this level of service, it becomes an experience.
I review a lot of hot pot restaurants and usually can find at least one thing I would change. This time, I really can’t.

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“BEST FOOD AND SERVICE!! the naan was the best naan i’ve ever had in my life, it was soooo fluffy and doughy. chicken tikka masala was a genuine 10/10 and i can’t wait to eat my leftovers. my meal had me weak in the knees after bruh. my king anuj brought us great food and delivered amazing service. he asked me after i put on my sweater if i was cold and then he turned off the ac that was going directly on my table (which was much much appreciated). i can’t wait to come back“

“Came here with my family on a Sunday night, we were seated quickly with friendly and attentive service throughout! Everything we ate was handmade in house - including the pineapple cakes pictured here. I would really recommend getting the sauteed stinky tofu and the sesame oil pork kidney :) I will definitely come back to try out more from their menu!!“

“In my opinion, this is the best Indonesian Restaurant in the U.S. Most Indonesian restaurants in the U.S. taste are unauthentic, which leads to an unauthentic experience. This place definitely had its ingredients set for a memorable experience we will never forget. This place is definitely worth visiting over and over again as it has some of the best Indonesian food you can get in the U.S.“

“I was so excited to spend my birthday at Leticia's. The food and service were fine, and the atmosphere seemed lively enough, but the night ended in total heartbreak. My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

“It’s usually pretty quiet here when I tend to go for lunch. The service has always been great and attentive. The portions are big I can rarely finish what I order. The best part is the pricing - I typically order a main with rice & naan and a couple glasses of wine and I always feel like I’m getting a deal. Definitely recommend!“

“A great pure South Indian vegetarian restaurant, especially for authentic Tamil Nadu-style flavors. Everything was tasty, flavorful, and genuinely authentic.
They offer around 10–12 dosa varieties, rice dishes, and appetizers. Prices are very affordable, and the portions are moderate for the price, making it easy to try several items without spending much.
The service was good and fast. It’s an order-and-pick-up-over-the-counter kind of restaurant, making it a convenient option for a quick meal. There is plenty of seating in the basement, accessible by stairs or elevator. There’s also a small temple gift shop.
Parking can be challenging since it’s on a busy street, but a dedicated temple parking lot on Smart Street, one street over, has space for about 35–40 cars.
Overall, a great spot for authentic Tamil Nadu-style food, affordable prices, quick service, and plenty of dosa choices!“

“I get a Caesar salad salad from Chopt at least three times a week. I usually get a delivery, but this time I came to the store and I might just switch to in store with how nice everyone was. T made my salad and she killed it! I haven’t tried the Mexican Caesar yet and she gave me a bit to try on the side, will be getting on my next visit! This is why I love Chopt!“

Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.
The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.
If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“
