“So happy I decided not to go home and cook. I live close by and wanted to try this restaurant for so long. I finally did it. I had the tortilla soup and the flautas. And of course chips with salsa and guacamole. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Ambiance is very nice and the music… I was singing and dancing waiting for my food. Loved it!!“

“I loved my experience here. Now I should warn you, this place has a lot of character. If you want something a little boring and sterile, this is not the place. Victor was an incredible host and the food was fantastic.

“Had an amazing GF experience! Service was top notch and so friendly. All the tacos and sides were the kind you never want to end. Even got some in lettuce wraps. Recommend: Everything! “I work in the neighborhood and I came across this place one day. The food is amazing, homemade, fresh and made with love.
My favorite for breakfast are eggwhites with Chorizo, hot peppers and bacon on a roll. By the way, the ladies working there are so friendly as if they are welcoming you into their home with open arms. ❤️“

“Is one of the best places where you get a real taste of fresh Carnitas, tacos, chicharrones etc. definitely my place to go when I am in the area, they don't accept credit/debit cards, just cash or Zelle. place is very small and limited seats, other than these minor inconveniences is an excellent place to eat Authentic delicious Mexican food.“

“Food is yummy. Prices have gone up recently. Still fair pricing. Ran into an issue with an order for my coworkers and I. The order was double checked on the phone but when we received the order we had one different item. Called and spoke with someone who said “that’s what you ordered”. Then spoke with the person who took my order the first time and she said we must’ve gotten the wrong item by mistake that she would fix it and we’d get it asap. When the driver arrived he asked us to pay we then had to explain the situation to him and hand him back the torta that we had already opened and touched (gross but I can see why they’d do it). Aside from some rude staff. The food is good“

“The place had been closed for a while but the reopened and the carnitas tacos are still excellent. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the world. So far the best tacos I have had in Yonkers. I always get the carnitas tacos and they are always so flavorful and the place is simple but nice and clean. The carnitas are always tender. I also get the horchata. This is the place I always go to for Taco Tuesdays. Hands down the best chimichanga in the area, the service is great and the people are very friendly. I've been here several times and never had to wait long for my food. A must of your looking for good authentic Mexican food.“

“1st time I ever had Mexican food it was at Mister Taco. I was about 19 yrs old then. Now going on 59 yrs old I went by there today. And had 2 tacos a burrito and thr rice with refried beans everything was delicious and the service was great. Going to go back with the family soon.“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“
