So fresh, so well decorated and exactly as requested. I give my 100% plus recommendation to anyone looking for a bakery. It is worth traveling to. The donuts were awesome too just as advertised. Very large, expertly filled and tasted so fresh like they were baked about an hour before I picked them up.“

Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. “Layers Bakeshop is hands down my favorite bakery. The first time I ever had Layers was actually in Pakistan, so it already held a special place for me. Later on, a close friend introduced me to the U.S. locations and fun fact, she and her brother actually own the franchise. They’ve truly done an amazing job with every store so far.

I’ve been to about three Layers locations, and while the Elmont Layers Bakeshop location is the smallest one, it’s also the closest to me, which makes it my go-to. The quality, presentation, and consistency are always on point.

Honestly, I love almost everything from this bakery, but right now my absolute favorite is anything Lotus-flavored you really can’t go wrong with it. The desserts are rich, balanced, and never disappoint.

I also noticed they’ve started making candles, which is such a smart and creative addition to the brand. It just shows how much thought they put into expanding beyond desserts while keeping the same aesthetic and quality.

If you haven’t tried Layers yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend stopping by especially the Elmont location if you’re nearby.“

Recently she baked me my wedding cake and it was completely personalized and unique to all the requests that myself and my wife requested. She even personally delivered it to the wedding venue and coordinated with venue staff on the day of my wedding.
