“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.

“I called them at 4pm on a Friday asked about a tiramisu cake for my son’s girlfriend. They did not have it available but promised they would have one fresh for me on Saturday morning and they did not disappoint! “Are you passionate about pistachios? I am and at Petit Chou there is a pistachio éclair ($8) that is simply divine. Studded with a profusion of the tasty nuts, this pastry also has pistachio cream inside making each bite heavenly. I ate this last Friday. It's best to wait a few minutes to let it soften a bit before starting to eat. When I truly enjoy something I tend to eat slowly savoring each bite even though I know I may have it again.“

“Came here for the lava seasame crepe roll and it did not disappoint. The crunchy flakes on top added texture to a creamy and most importantly, not to sweet, crepe roll. It’s so soft and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here just for this. Will definitely be back to try every single one of these beautiful and unique treats.“

“my favorite coffee shop. all the women are so friendly and make all the baked goods and drinks with love. i highly recommend the oat hochija latte and their home brewed iced teas. in the fall they have a delicious kabocha tea cake and regularly have a yuzu lemon cake and a lavender blueberry cake that are divine. i usually go during the weekdays in the early morning/afternoon and they have seating available, but it is a small space and can get busy on the weekends.“

“We had the pleasure of visiting the patisserie this weekend and loved the friendly nature of all the staff. We weren't able to try any of their cakes due to the presence of gelatin but Diana made us feel so welcome that we will definitely be coming back if not for pastries then definitely for the service! In today's fast paced environment, especially in a touristy area like Seaport it is rare to find such exceptional customer service. Diana took out the time to go over the ingredients and explain what we can have based off of our dietary needs. We ended up trying the banana cookie and the Gluten-free Chocolate cookie. The banana cookie had a lovely texture that is hard to come by - I'm a baker so I could tell it was made with skill. The texture was a mouthy chew without being too hard or too crispy - it was just right. The taste was similar to Craqelin and the banana really added depth to the carmelly flavor of the cookie. The chocolate cookie was even better (although I'm quite biased as I prefer chocolate). It was not too sweet, had a great texture and the pools of chocolate carmel added the perfect touch. I am quite picky so I was very impressed with Diana's customer service and her willingness to explain all the components so I would have the best experience. We left feeling quite pleased and will definitely be back. Diana should be promoted!
P.S. we also got the French Onion Croissant which was MAGNIFICENT! Crispy, perfectly seasoned and those layers of caramelized onion with cheese truly tantalized our tastebuds. Needless to say this place is a must try!“

“The atmosphere was amazing, and the cafe really embodied the French vibe completely. Also, the workers were so nice and polite. They provided details on the menu and definitely showed that they cared as well. The food was also amazing and tasty.“

“I come here almost every single day as a student from HPHS and it has been my to go spot for 3 years, the quality has changed for the better and the almond croissants are delicious. Their coffee doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste unlike Starbucks, nor is it entirely too sweet. It is a tad bit pricey but for the quality it is good. Would recommend the flan too. 👍 The staff are very nice and understanding.“

“I can’t make this up if I remember correctly, the worker named Hafij was genuinely one of the coolest people I’ve met at a spot like this. He was super friendly, approachable, and made it feel welcoming right away, especially since it was my first time coming here. Hafij helped me decide what to order and gave real recommendations instead of rushing me, and he was patient while answering my questions. You can tell he actually cares about customers and takes pride in what he does, and because of him I’m definitely coming back in the future.“

“There is so much positive vibes and a flow to how the traffic comes in and leaves. Never have to wait long for a sear to dine in or do some work to prep myself for the day for work. Or to just sit alone reset or plan the layout of my day

This location is small not much choices of all the items available and also seating is limited but the space is small to begin with.

The staff is so caring warm and attentive. Every pastry beverage and prepared products are fresh and staff is out and about moving items cleaning and restocking as soon as they see the need for it.

This is my frequented little cozy shop and I wouldn't have it any other way“

I mean idk what thst was, but that wasnt no regular Pizza! We tore that pizza up! And then went back and ordered personal pans! And so did my friend! Their almond croissants are pretty good though they don’t have as much almond filling as some other places like Blue Bottle etc. overall it’s pretty solid for a quick bite. This location gets really busy in the morning as it’s next to the hospital. Lots of hospital staff coming during peak morning and afternoon hours.“

“I keep going back to this bakery ever since I tried their prosciutto baguette - if you’re lucky to get your hands on one, you’ll likely eat it all in one sitting, so I always recommend getting 2. Their sourdough is also very affordable under $8 and they slice it for you.
