“Some of the kindest, most understanding people work here.

It's a Coldstone Creamery, you know what you're getting into.

But the staff is exceptional, we'd been here more than a few times and always had great ice-cream. My keys stopped working and me and my fiancé were locked out of our car late at night in sub 20 below weather. The manager attempted to help us open the car, gave us shelter, and was so kind and supportive. They moved a bench inside for us, checked in and offered so much. They took care of us in more ways than not after an already long and hard day.

Outside of being a good place to get ice cream, I think any locals should support these people as much as possible.“

“Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

I really appreciate how clearly everything is labeled, from which toppings are kosher to what allergens are present, making it easy to eat here with confidence. Highly recommend!“

“There is not much that differentiates one carvel from another product-wise. However, the awesome customer service and friendly staff is what makes this one shine. We have a peanut allergy in the family and have never had an issue either.They also do a phenomenal job decorating cakes. 10/10 would recommend :)“

“I love everything about this place. The cookies. The atmosphere, the wall with the huge cookie. The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

“Had a great experience at the Lynbrook TCBY store! Brad, the friendly staff member behind the counter, went above and beyond to make our visit special. He kindly offered us samples of any flavor we wanted, which helped us decide on the perfect frozen yogurts. His warm smile and excellent customer service made my lunch break even sweeter. I met up with my wife and daughter there, and Brad made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. “What a wonderful place to indulge! Jess took very good care of us. Very sweet, personable, and added to our positive experience. We chose a vanilla raspberry chocolate ice cream shake. “Wow! Alkemy Ice Cream is amazing! I def recommend trying it! And especially for a birthday party! My entire experience was fantastic! I stumbled upon Alkemy Ice cream while looking for something unique for a birthday and the owner Alan explained how they do birthday parties almost like a show AND make the dessert. They can host a party at the shop OR they can come to you! I was unsure how it would go but Alan was super friendly, answered all my questions throughly and assured me I would love it. I more than loved it! It was the best ever and we are still talking about it. They came to my house and put on a show for the kids that even they are still talking about how cool it was. It was like having a party and adding a surprise guest with a special science experiment show for additional entertainment that makes amazing unique dessert at the end! Each ice cream was perfectly made and was fresh! The toppings were all fresh as well. Watching the show was fascinating and the kids had so much fun learning. They continued to amaze guests as they made each ice cream right there. I wasn’t sure if each kid would be waiting a while but it didn’t take long to get all the kids ice cream after the show. They whipped it up fast and everyone got to pick toppings and have a perfectly made ice cream quickly. They didn’t need a lot of room and even cleaned up! My favorite has been the acai bowl, but you really can't go wrong with their cream or water ices. Their banana shake is just as delightful as any of their other specialty shakes and ice creams.
