“My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“I was at Traditions last night for Disco Night. It was my first time and I had an absolute amazing time. From the atmosphere, DJ, people, bar statf, drinks etc. I will be coming again to first Friday of the month. Thank you for allowing me to have a memorable time.“

“Literally a week before my son’s bday I found this place on a catering search. Can I just say everything was extremely amazing! From taste to presentation. Customer service was impeccable as well, walking into this place made you feel like you have been there before. The warm smiles and attentiveness given by its employees assured me I was in the right place. My food was delivered to Sky Zone on time and can I just say again 10 out of 10 on everything. “The food is reliably good, maybe not spectacular. The desserts, though, ARE spectacular. The drinks are good, too. The only problem with the service is that the bartender also has to wait tables, so everything slows down. Prices are reasonable for Westchester, and the place has a very relaxed vibe.“

“The North Star is a great restaurant. The owner, David, is very friendly and runs a good service team. The dark interior creates a great ambience, especially on winter evenings, and Thursdays when there is a live band on are particularly good. Outdoor seating in the summer is good, provided you have applied plenty of mozzie spray. There is a good wine list too. But the food is excellent; I particularly recommend the goat cheese or endive & pear salads as appetizers, and our kids love the truffle mac & cheese. For main courses I particularly recommend the Chilean sea bass. This is one of the few restaurants I think it worthwhile to save some room for dessert, too.

My one quibble would be that the menu doesn't change much. Introducing more seasonal variation would be great, but perhaps David thinks: if it ain't broke, why fix it?“

“I had my wedding here and I am so glad it was at the Kittle House. The event coordinator, Kimberly, was a pleasure to work with and was very organized and accommodating. The venue itself was truly beautiful and was perfect for us. The wedding food they provided was all vegan as we requested and they were very good at dealing with this and the food was amazing. They provided so many options and were very flexible. They also found a way to make our specific signature cocktail and did a very good job with it. The staff was were also very attentive and helpful and made everything easier for us. Overall, I highly recommend having your wedding here.“

“Lovely view. The wait staff is new and learning! The owner Perry is on it! Marcos the manager is eager to please. The food is Good!!! I feel that the restaurant has gotten a bad rap time after time. I feel that some If the people who go in are to quick to criticize, it’s sort of like they want it there way. This is there restaurant and they are Doing a great job. They know what they are doing so give them a break. Like I said in the beginning the wait staff is learning to be the best they can so give them a break. We love going always feel welcome and look forward to see them flourish .“
