“Came here from California because my coworker who is a buffalo native said i should try the double dipped wings. It did not disappoint. Doubled dipped in cajun and mustard, there is a good smokey flavor paired with the crunchiness of the chicken. Superb. The chili is also loaded. I suggest anyone visiting buffalo should try this.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Stopped in while in town for a football game as we were staying just around the corner. Wings and burger were great as was the service. The music they were playing was not great and probably why they weren't real busy. Might have been a patrons choice but it was downright horrible music and way too loud to carry on a conversation. Definitely not family friendly.“

“A step below a dive bar, but I didn't go for the ambience. The beef on weck was outstanding. So much so that I went back again the following week. One member of our party felt the same way about the wings. I may never get to try them because it's like going to Grover's and ordering anything other than a cheeseburger. They are so damn good, you can't pass it up. Of course next time I guess I can get the beef on weck and the wings. Both servers were first rate, attentive, personable and professional. And don't get me started with the beer prices or they might decide to raise them..“

The restaurant and bar were very busy but no excuse for the disorganization we experienced. Probably won't go back as Buffalo has many Italian restaurants with better food, atmosphere and prices. “I went to raintree yesterday for the first time and I will definitely be back to try the food! I just went for a few drinks with a friend and I have to say the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a bit and had a few laughs. The people that sat next to us ended up being very sociable and had some great conversations. Its nice to know you can walk into a place and be treated like you been a regular. “Oh man where do I start. Over the years I've had a few really good fish dinners but this one by far was the 'best' ! They say don't judge a book by its cover, well the same goes for the building. Cozy inside and the staff is nice and friendly. I believe the fish dinner was only $14.00 and there was plenty. Hey I just realize something , there was no bread or a roll ! Stuff to have it all. I know one thing for sure, I'm going back !“

“I had my daughter's birthday party at Northtown center during an open skate on short notice. The Skybox owner was very accommodating, and set us up in their private party room for pizza and cake. It overlooks the main ice rink which was great. The staff was very helpful and the pizza and wings were tasty. Thanks again!“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

I heard nothing but good things from my group regarding the food, service and the viewing experience with all of the tv’s. “Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. “had a chance to stop in at Lumbejacks patio grill. menu is your usual grill menu - burgers, sandwiches, fish, salads, hot dogs, fries, ice cream. all very good. you order at counter and they will bring you your food. we waited for our order a bit longer than expected. but that was because the place was hoppin'. what impressed me though was the young kitchen cooks and counter staff and how they worked their butts off. the crew was movin' and groovin'. i appreciated their hustle.“
