“Wonderful food and atmosphere!“

“We stopped here tonight for a very quick dinner. We are new to the area and heard from MANY people that this was a must-try… and they were absolutely right! Food and service was incredible and great atmosphere! We will DEFINITELY be going back!“

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“Exceptional food. Take out and dine in has been a 10/10. Their pasta is cooked to perfection. Their sauce is phenomenal. I highly recommend villa nigrelli. I come from Long Island where I’ve had my fair share of amazing Italian food and this is definitely in my top 5 places. That’s a big compliment. Seafood was fresh.“

“What an amazing place for live music!! Sat at the end of the bar and watched an amazing Chris Cornell cover band. Bartenders were busy, but so polite and professional. I had wings and Philly Cheesesteak which were delicious. They have Captain Lawrence IPA on tap. Best mixed drink is a Smokey Manhattan! I live in Long Island, but will definitely venture back here again.“

“Had a birthday cake done for my daughter’s birthday and Luigi (baker) made it to Perfection. Red Velvet cake. Delicious and gorgeous looking cake. He also made me chocolate covered strawberries and never tasted such delicious chocolate before. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.“

“As a bagel expert lol they were delicious tasted great but they a lot smaller and i had a toasted plain with butter very little butter on it but against there competitors there bagel is 1/2 smaller I had to go ask for more butterThe competitors are good too ..Not as many selections of different varieties of bagels ..Will try it again.. and I will try a scramble egg n bacon on a bagel next time .. The drink section was also limited Im sure there must be budget cut ..Large seating on benches .. Again the taste is great will get photos next time or add your own“

“This place is one of my family's favorite restaurants for many years. We all refer to it as B's. There are so many great and delicious choices between the specialty pizza slices, salads, and pasta and chicken dishes. Rocky and team has always gone above and beyond for us whenever we order out, dine in, cater for a party or host a party in the back. We've never had a bad meal here and highly recommend it.“

“We stopped at Lou's Restaurant early in the morning on our way to the airport. We got a friendly welcome and ordered the house speciality 'Eggs Loui' with black coffee and sausages on the side. Everything was freshly prepared and the eggs were absolutely delicious. Great portions as well, I was fully satisfied after the meal.
The place itself is also very nice, it's an old school diner where you felt taken back in time a few years. But absolutely in a good way, I love places like that.

“The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.“

“Home cooked Mexican/Central American food that tastes like your Abuela would have made for you. This is the most homey Mexican food I’ve found North of Del Rio. Following the other great reviews here we found our way to this unassuming Bodega/restaurant while escaping the I-84 traffic jam on old Route 22. The whole family was delighted with the food. We had tamales like I used to get from street venders in Cuidad Acuña back in the 80’s. The tacos were tasty bites that the kids demolished with great gusto. Cheese empanadas for a bit more snack with cheese and cabbage garnish. The sauce for the tamales was very tasty, mild and fine for the kids soft tongues. We finished with a wonderful horchata, made in their own kitchen. It was so much better than the commercially sold horchata that there is really no comparison. For desert we snagged a chocolate covered frozen banana from the bodega and our delightful south of the border meal was complete. We will gladly stop again and will recommend this hidden gem to all our traveling friends!“

The lady at the counter was very friendly and when I asked for seafood dishes next time, she suggested Shrimp with Broccoli.

I got the Scallops and Shrimp over Garlic Sauce and it was quite delicious!

“Milton and his crew are fantastic chefs and make a wide variety of great food. Sometimes I go classic American dishes, sometimes more interesting stuff like these Ecuadorian salchi dishes I put in that photo. Very good stuff for any appetite, so I go all the time.

They also play good music in there 😂“

“There food is good. The Handshakes wings are AMAZING. It's family owned and operated I believe. So we like to support local. I have been going there for years. recently mostly take out. But ate there last night. it was great. the service was good. They also make a great burger. I think best for a burger and wings. my husband loves the patty melt. per him it come out perfect no need for ketchup or salt or pepper.“

“First time there. The food was good, the portions were large and the staff were very friendly and polite but with that being said, the service wasn't all that great. Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“

“Always tricky to please everyone, but the order for seven people I picked up at Kai’s last night contained fresh, delicious and varied dishes my family raved about. Great sauces in the beef, chicken and vegetables options. The wonton soup broth was tasty and not too salty. Scallion pancakes were a crispy treat. All dishes were reasonably priced. “Food is of excellent quality. Always fresh, never overly greasy like a lot of other places and very flavorful. Many unique menu options. The restaurant is extremely clean. Most importantly the owners are wonderful people with the wife being such a sincere and sweet woman. We have frequented them for years now after discovering them and will never go anywhere else. Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time.“
