“After I hyped up this restaurant to a friend, we experience very poor customer service. First, it took about 15 to 20 minutes for someone to greet us once we were seated. Then she took our drink order and it took another 15 to 20 minutes for her to show up with those drinks. Once the meal was ordered and arrived. We did ask for more bread and a refill on our drinks . Again playing the waiting game to when I finally got up with my bread basket and walked to the front hostess counter and asked for some help. She promptly assisted in getting us another basket of bread and then saw that our drinks were empty so she did refill our drinks. However, I did inform her that the waitress did offer to do that and then we never saw her again. We ordered a full meal with dessert and I expected them to maybe comp us for the dessert since we had such a terrible service experience but they were not willing to do that. The food was excellent but once the service is poor it ruins the whole experience“

“We had the best time at dinner. The food was so fresh and tasty. The breading on the clams tasted so good. Everything we had tasted homemade and fresh. I can’t wait to go back again. I would go everyday if it were closer to me. I live in Albany.“

“It’s a lovely place with a very kind staff! They check up on us often and kindly explain everything. The food was tasty and the portions were very generous. There were several errors on the menu, that the staff seemed to know about but have not fixed and never mentioned when we were ordering. It made it trickier to order because the information was not correct or was confusing.“

“It's a take out spot. There are one or two small tables but your pretty much going to take it to go. Be advised there is a credit/debit card minimum transaction but it's very reasonable. Within this milieu they do what they do very well. I've never gotten a bad order from them. The menus in this cuisine have become somewhat standardized so expect all the stuff you've come to love plus a few surprises. I personally love the dumplings. The family that owns it are total sweethearts. Many a night with crummy weather when I haven't felt like cooking this place has been a lifesaver. The menu is huge. Break out of your comfort zone and try something different. I have and I've never bern disappointed and found that my culinary horizons had been expanded beyond my usual same ole same ole. It's not a fancy sit down place but they are very good at what they do in this category.“
