“My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“Top shelf!!! We had a group of 17 for lunch. Everyone raved about the excellent food and the wonderful and friendly service. Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. We couldn't have chosen a better place.“

I don’t drink alcohol but hubby thought their craft beers are top-notch, with Hurricane Kitty and Mother's Milk being my favorites. They also have live music events that make the place even more fun. “First thing I noticed was the beautiful engraved door. Very friendly atmosphere. We were offered drinks while waiting to be seated for dinner. I had a coconut margarita which was amazing! I normally don’t drink margaritas. The guacamole was so fresh! Delicious! My husband and daughter loved the calamari! My husband got the Casa Villa Seafood, he was in heaven! The portions were large we left with two bags of food. The staff from start to finish were really impeccable! 10 out of 10. We will be returning!“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

“I don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed by this restaurant that I felt obliged to let other people know what they were missing. From our cocktails to dessert everything was top notch ... fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The margaritas, both Frozen and straight up we're a perfect balance of lime and sweetness with a choice of different salted, sweet or spicy rim flavors. You can also get a flight of three different flavored margaritas including coconut, raspberry, and mango. All were delightful but coconut was the favorite. Our main course of fish tacos and portbella/spinach enchilada was fresh, colorful and delicious served with rice and beans. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The portions are plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. And I can't say enough about the friendly service and staff.... all super friendly and cheery....even the owner Guadalupe came to stop at our table and welcome us to her restaurant with a free dessert of creamy, light, melt in your mouth Key lime pie....save room....YUM! They even welcomed my dog, Goldilocks. What a wonderful find! I will definitely go back there again as often as I can. I had such a lovely evening and even had a conversation with the friendly people at the next table who were regulars. I left with a full belly, a smile on my face and a hug from Guadalupe.“

“So many community members, businesses, friends & family, came together to support the Gribbon family in their recent renovation at the new location. The new High Falls Cafe is beautiful! It has the same welcoming atmosphere as its previous location, but this is so much better! Food and service are great, and they have been very busy since opening a few weeks ago. If you want to ensure that you can get a table, make a reservation in advance!“

“We have used Gwenn and Stone Soup Food Company to cater two events now and have been so impressed! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. All of our guests were coming back for seconds and thirds and asking where the food was from. Both times it was easy to work with Stone Soup and they were responsive and quick to respond. “Amazing food! I always get the chicken tacos. But the plantains are just always the best part of my visit! They melt in your mouth! Don’t be scared of this location! The owner is very nice and lovely woman. She makes great food. The area is decorated with potted flowers and picnic tables. Best bite to eat within walking distance of the bus station.“

“I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.“

“Picked up an awesome meal last night from here. I was amazed that everything was accounted for and they didn't skimp on anything. Was a very pleasant experience and the food was very good. Also very reasonably priced. The woman at the to go counter was very nice too. She does a good job. I wish I would've tipped more now, but now I know for next time. Most places always forget something or mess up something, but my dinner was spot on. My order was ready right on time as well.“

Portions were extremely generous and the family who runs it, couldn’t be any sweeter! We ordered extra egg rolls to go and wanted peanut sauce for dipping and the owner came out and offered us tow different kinds. We definitely will be back!!“

The flavors are amazing and you just taste the freshness too no day old fried wontons here! - the crab rangoons were crispy , full of flavor, with just the right amount of filling. I’m telling ya folks- this is THE SPOT to get your food from - super fast delivery / food was super hot - as if I was at the restaurant- portions are good size…. did I mention the sauces? Absolutely fantastic - my new go to for Chinese!! Whoever the chef is today? You deserve a Michelin star“

“My partner Justin and I went to Eng's as part of our Severance-filming-location trip. We actually got there way too early and stuck around the area, checking out little shops for hours before they opened and we are SO GLAD we did. We got there right when the dining room opened and were geeking out the whole time about the place - the lighting, the art that was left up in the scene in Severance, the awesome owner and waiter. It was all great. The mai tai was amazing as was the veggie lo mein and spare ribs. We can't wait to go back someday soon!! Thanks to the staff for being so kind and funny and letting us take a bunch of pictures.“

Jace provided great customer service and was a fabulous waiter. My only note is, it is EXTREMELY cold in this establishment, even in the summer months.“
