I've seen them closing this restaurant and they steam clean the entire restaurant.They break everything down at night and steam clean everything. It is the cleanest and best place to eat Chinese Food in duchess county. They have Dine In service too. “I’ve been coming to Golden Jade for a while now and the food is always solid. Definitely one of the better spots for takeout in the area. The Dragon and Phoenix is a standout with great flavor, perfectly cooked shrimp, and the General Tso’s chicken has the right amount of kick. Their Beef and Broccoli is also really good with tender beef, fresh broccoli, and not overly sauced like some places.

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food is consistently fresh and hot. It’s not really a place I’d go to for the atmosphere since it’s pretty plain inside and more of a grab and go kind of vibe. But if you’re looking for good Chinese food without the frills this place delivers.

“Feng was amazingly helpful. Less than 24 hours before a bridal shower, the restaurant we had contracted with reneged, leaving us high and dry.

I called Oriental Kitchen and Feng came to our rescue. In a few hours he and his chefs had created and executed a carry out caterering menu!

“We've tried at least four different places in the area, and this got the highest marks across all four dishes. We tried sesame chicken combo, wonton soup, Singapore mei fun, and szechuan beef. The beef wasn't spicy but still not bad.“

“WOW! I grew up in this area and never really liked chinese takeout all that much. I guess I never really had good takeout because after ordering here, I can eat this every day! My boyfriend grew up in a city area and loved chinese but hated all the places he tried here. He was so happy that we found this hole in the wall. All the food we ordered was amazing but the boneless bbq spare ribs were just incredible. Really seemed like everything was homemade, not too greasy, and just fresh in general. This will now be my go to chinese takeout spot and I will definitely be getting it more. Bonus that they have the chinese donuts, those are the best!“

“The customer service is horrible, the front desk "warden" is very nasty. If you ask her a question she ignores you, all she is focused on is the money and not her customers. They raised their prices and took away the senior discount. The food is good although not always hot, they have a good variety. Whenever they have crabs you better bring your own utensil to crack them with or have a great set of teeth. They have a limited supply of crab crackers and ignore you when you ask for one. I am not particularly happy with the way they allow children to serve themselves. They should inform adults that they must accompany children to the servers. I actually saw a child eating out of the servers, wiped her nose with her hand like some children do and proceed to get food. its useless to bring it to the attention of the workers, they did nothing. Food good, service not so good. I waited months between visits...no change. Years ago it was a pleasure to visit.“
