“The cajun fajita slice may be the best slice of pizza I've ever had, and for context I lived in the Italian part of Brooklyn for a decade, and have been to all fifty states (and ate pizza in most of them). The basic elements are perfect examples of NY style pizza - crisp-outer/chewy-inner crust, great sauce to cheese ratio, generous size slices. But this creation - I've had cajun and I've had fajita slices but never a fusion like this and it works beautifully. Spicy, sweet, and complex flavors - I don't know if they invented this slice but it's all I want now.“

“This place was such an amazing experience. I haven't been to the area in a while and I have to say…this might be my favorite place in Poughkeepsie. From the drinks, to the vibe, to the food. Everything was top notch. I had trouble choosing what to get because everything looked so good. I ended up with the jambalaya and it was soooo good. I’m gonna have just come back a couple more times.“

My only concern tonight was the waiters using foul language ( amongst themselves but loud enough that we could hear since it was very quiet in there when we went ) very unprofessional. . Then an elderly gentleman came in and requested a table for one not near the bar but the waiter told him the one table at the far end in the corner was for two people . It was early like 5:00 and almost nobody in there . What would’ve been the harm in placing him at that table ? He would’ve been done eating probably before it got too busy and he at least would have had some dignity instead of being sat behind the host station . That’s just poor taste in my opinion . Just thought it should be brought up for the future . Treat customers with respect and they will return .“

“Really great local spot serving a traditional fare of Mexican dishes. Currently on a plant-based diet, I found their vegetarian selection to be good and tasty. The veggie quesadilla is amazing! The green sauce on the enchilada is a little on the sour side, but all around not bad. Not many seating options but that's not necessarily a bad thing. You go in, look at the menu, order, and sit and wait for your order to come out.

ZERO complaints on the food... But now the bill comes. $14 (x7) for a shot of Don Julio Tequila? I almost fell over. That's simply ridiculous! Every bar/restaurant within a 50 mile radius gets $6-$7 per shot MAX! We're not in NYC .... I learned a valuable lesson tonight..... IF we return to Noochs for dinner, I'll drink water with a splash of lemon....“

“We stopped at Lou's Restaurant early in the morning on our way to the airport. We got a friendly welcome and ordered the house speciality 'Eggs Loui' with black coffee and sausages on the side. Everything was freshly prepared and the eggs were absolutely delicious. Great portions as well, I was fully satisfied after the meal.
The place itself is also very nice, it's an old school diner where you felt taken back in time a few years. But absolutely in a good way, I love places like that.

And the food is AMAZING- last time we had the most beautiful literal bamboo BOAT of sushi and it was so fresh and beautifully presented. I've been there for lunch and dinner and will continue to return every time I get a sushi craving. The lunch specials are very reasonable as well!Last time we got a free mochi green tea ice cream as well and it was delicious!“
