“Excellent food, service and ambiance. Will definitely be back. The menu changes so perhaps call to see what’s on the menu. I had a skirt steak that was perfectly cooked to my liking in a delicious marinade. My husband had their homemade pasta which was awesome. Dessert and coffee were yummy. Nice little touches everywhere. We came in with a few minutes to spare before they were making their last seating which always makes me a little nervous when going someplaces. Sometimes you can see the employees rolling their eyes and looking upset that a new table has come in. This definitely was not the case. The wait staff was extremely friendly and answered a lot of questions for us about the area and recommended some other restaurants to try as well. The chef came out and spoke to us also at some point. We did not feel rushed and they gave us dessert and coffee and did not sit and look at their watches. Really cute place and excellent food. I highly recommend it.”

“This restaurant was such an incredible and unexpected find on the way home from the Bloomingdale Bog! I have traveled widely and the best food I have ever had was in Venice Italy: I kid you not, the food and service here brought me back to Venice and Florence. I had the shrimp special: shrimp cooked with sautéed vegetables: onions, sliced garlic, roasted red peppers, large wands of broccoli, all cooked to perfection. The veggies still had flavor and bite, the large shrimp were perfectly cooked, and all tossed over pasta with delicately flavored sauce and olive oil, which never overpowered the flavor of the main ingredients. My partner had the Chicken special which was perfectly tender chicken breast bathed in a cognac marinara sauce, with mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers and a side of delicate pasta. For dessert we enjoyed the Tira mi su, my favorite, which I make from scratch myself. The pastry and pastry cream were heavenly, finished with a thin layer of chocolate and a dollop of whipped cream. Stupendous. The lemon cake was also obviously made in house, with cake that was not too sweet, richly textured with a nice thick layer of lemon cream between the two layers. This dinner was a glorious North Country surprise, one that transformed this series of cold, gray days. The service was also absolutely exceptional, professional, friendly, graceful, relaxed and timely. We can't wait to return, and I would highly recommend you treat yourselves...especially now when it's slower! Light up a cold winter evening. THANK YOU!”

“When we walked in looked like your average pub with a slightly dated look. We had a Burger and Wings. Wings were crisp but not dried out (perfect cook). Burger was phenomenal and you could taste the freshness of the Beef, Bun and other ingredients. Highly recommend.”

“Me and a friend stopped at Subway on Central ave couple weeks ago, their foot long cookie, as doesn't look like on TV, it looks very good. Their pretzel is not as big as what they projected on TV so, and it was hard, so I wouldn't recommend that the cookie. Didn't the foot long cookie didn't look? They looked about the same size. So I don't think it was foot long. Their sandwiches are good. They did do better on cutting the meit. For my professional opinion there, their subs roles are getting better. I just feel that. You advertised something on TV. It's supposed to be that same size. And then when you go to the store it's really small so.
Don't don't always believe what you see on TV.

Parking: Their parking is in a little strip mall so they have plenty of parking. This is the Subway on Central ave in colony, New York.
I would just hope that when they advertise their cookies and their pretzels, it'd be actually the same size as they show on TV. Because you go there to get you want the foot long cookie or you want it the same size as your sub, not smaller, you Subway want to? Make money like everyone else. I just feel that if you're gonna show it on TV to be the same size as your sub once you want that in your restaurant.”

“Great little sub shop in the town of saranac definitely get their pickles and their garlic dill bread on whatever sandwich you get it's absolutely delicious if you love pasta salad there's is extremely delicious they even ask you if you want to add other toppings on it as well because it's a very simple salad granted it's so delicious and so flavorful I don't think you need to add anything to it other than maybe some onions.”

“I had an extremely poor experience at this place. 1. We were given old menus with outdated descriptions and pricing. 2. My pulled pork was filled with bone and cartilage (see picture for the inedible portions I pulled out of the food). It was nearly every bite. 3. For some reason there seemingly is a half-eaten / broken watermelon slice on each dish. 4. I advised the waitstaff and their resolution was to provide me another plate. Why would I want more bad BBQ? 5. Restrooms were poorly attended and lacked essential items. This left my friend stranded in an unfortunate situation...which I found hilarious. The people in the parking lot saw recognized my frustration and indicated their dinners were horrible as well. For two of us, the bill was $57.00. A better use of that amount would be two travel down the road about half a mile and buy some cokes and beef jerky from the local tractor supply store.”
