“Food was good. Margs were good. Prices were a bit steep especially for a chain. It was Margarita day and they had a special. Had only 1 bartender 1 waitress and 1 bus woman with a full bar and packed restaurant. Since there was a lot of people in the restaurant and 1 waitress service was slow. It took 25 to get drinks and another 25 to place an order in. We also kept getting different Margaritas than what was ordered, since the staff was overwhelmed. I dont think this was a failure on any of the staff. Waitress, bartender, and bus girl were hustling and doing their best. It was inadequate staffing which is a reflection on managements inability to tend to worker and in turn customer needs properly. Expecting a crowd... have more than 1 waitress. Expecting a lot of drinks to be ordered... have more than 1 bar tender. Inadequate staffing to cut cost corners turns to inadequate service and unsatisfied customers. Unsatisfied customers means the likelihood of recommendation or return is low. I personally would not go back for a night known for crowds.“
“Let me stress this part, MAKE A RESERVATION! We arrived on a Friday night and of course had no reservation. We were told 20/30 minute wait for a table which we were fine with, except we waited for over an hour. After being seated we then waited for another 20 minutes before we were even greeted by a server which was quite frustrating because we were starving. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Aside from our extended waits for seating and service, the food itself was great. I ordered the "Cielo" which was a nice smooth yet strong drink. The tacos were delicious, tortillas didn't immediately fall apart and the filet mignon was juicy and tender. The sauce was amazing. “Went here for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the fact that when I ordered a lamb gyro they cooked/heated up the meat along with the gyro flatbread on the grill. “An absolute hidden gem in Patchogue village for comida authentica Mexicana! We visited for lunch around the holidays for a quick bite. We got sangria and a michelada as drinks to start. The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.“

“I decided to give this place a try. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I chose a custom salad with adobo chicken and a slew of toppings and even a decent portion of guacamole on it for no extra cost. Their Chicken quesadilla was huge and well balance with my choice ingredients. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Qdoba, they do everything right. I believe prices to portion ration is fair. The only downside I think is that possibly they just don't stand out enough vs the competition. I definitely recommend this place.“

Chips were made to perfection lightly salted, salsa a different flavor than I'm used to but excellent I can't quite peg what the difference is but it's great. Same with the queso. I had the Mongolian burrito it had a kick with lime and the beef was phenomenally dressed and crispy. My one critique would be it wasn't wrapped to tight but all good I ate some out with a fork. We had the shrimp and fish tacos as well, "it was everything I wanted". Direct quote. They changed up the outside since I was there last, no more picnic tables (maybe it's a seasonal thing). Simply delicious. The drinks were also great. My friend had the strawberry coconut margarita and I had some special Butterfly cocktail. But now that Los Amigos is here in the food court...I am fulfilled once again with something so much better! I had the steak tacos and wow these rival some of the best taco places I have been to. Do they cost a little more...yes. Are they worth $10 for 2 tacos...yes...yes! Just look at what you get fresh steak, taste Guacamole, fresh real cheese, crisp lettuce, topped with sour cream. All in a nice corn tortilla that stays together down to the last bite! Go get some of this fantastic food!
