He was also training new staff members while taking care of multiple customers.

The food is perfect every time ( No exaggeration, 50 visits, 50 times getting exactly what I asked for) I've tried everything on the menu and they're all good. **If you're ordering fries be prepared, it's usually and extra 3 or 4 minutes because they make them to order**. If I had to have one suggestion it would be more diet/zero sugar drinks, but that's because of MY preferences. Do not miss out on this place.“

“Maria’s is and has been our go to local restaurant since they opened in 2003. I recently hosted a 70th Birthday party for my husband there with 30 guests and everyone had a great time.
Maria, the owner, Meghan and Erin assisted with the planning and were very accommodating. The party menu was extensive with many choices for appetizers, entrees and desserts. They even created a menu to put at each table setting for guests to choose from. Our waiter and all the staff did a great job, always with a smile on their face. The food and drinks were all delicious, and most guests had leftovers to take home with them. One of the highlights at Maria’s is when celebrating a birthday, all the staff come to the table to sing and make music. It really adds to the festivities.
Our sincere thanks to Maria and her staff for going above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday party special and one to remember!“

“Simply the best taco spot in the area for true street-style tacos. I used to drive all the way to Queens to get tacos like these, and now I’ve found this gem just 2 minutes from home.

I ordered the birria tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The meat quality was excellent and the portions were very generous. The birria consommé was perfectly seasoned and came with a grilled jalapeño that added the perfect touch. The tacos also came with fries, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food.

I also tried the chorizo tostadas, and once again the portion size and flavor were incredible. The condiments were fresh and well balanced, and those came with fries too. There was so much food that it was easily enough for two people.

I can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious street-style tacos, this is the spot.“

“This place is absolutely amazing. I came in just to grab a quick bite to eat but everything looks so delicious.

I don't know what they call it but I tried a cactus leaf and it was delicious. It has such a flavor that is similar to I guess an artichoke but also very different at the exact same time.

I had two chicken tacos and one chorizo. I love the fact that they have a bar where you can add as much salsa and toppings as you want.

So delicious.

The place is so clean and spotless it's not even funny. Guys behind the counter are awesome and I already be back.“

The chips and salsa are scratch made, the burritos are large enough to share, nachos are a must-have. Vegetarian options are available. Prices are beyond reasonable; last time we went we spent $70 with drinks and tip for four people.“

We tried the pastore and carne asada tacos which were absolutely great FANTASTIC MENU and if you want “real deal” authentic mexican food. THIS is THE place. Right down the street too! “Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“
