“I've worked in Woodstock for 20+ years. The Garden Cafe is always on my short list of places I like to eat. I recommend it often. I am far from vegan or vegetarian. The quality, consistency, and creativity are just top-notch. I have cut back on dining out the last few years. I visited the Garden Cafe last week and was so happy to see that prices were still modest. This local truly appreciates a great place to eat without being punished in the wallet like I'm a tourist on vacation.“
“In town for work. Found this place just driving around. The women behind the counter were a delight! So incredibly friendly. Got a latte and a sandwich both were very good. Will 100% returnKid-friendliness: Very kitschy. Lots of fun stuff on the walls“
“After seeing Too Apree's Youtube video from Red Hook, where the owner of this cafe, randomly stopped and had a very chill and funny chat with Too Apree. I just want to visit this place! Seems like a chill place to hang out and support! Thank you Mr. Owner for making my day, even though I am located on the other side of the world, in Norway!“
“We were traveling through on New Year’s Day and looking for coffee. Found this great place open. Warm inviting and what we all need in my opinion. It was a welcome treat to find books on the very topics that had been circling my mind for the last few months right there on the shelves. No judgment just information to help you stay on track and want more. Thank you for opening a place like this. And in such a beautiful spot for discovery. Happy 2024 and keep it up!“
“Great place with delicious food and fantastic staff! You’ll love it! The coffee was delicious. Make sure you ask for “cafe de olla,” so good! First time adding chorizo to my huevos rancheros, and it was so delicious!!! I love their ‘tres leches’ cake???“
“I'm sad to say I've only ever been inside the shop twice, but as a testament to the quality of the available brews we have several pounds of their Jazzy Joe blend shipped down to us every six weeks or so. You can't go wrong with MJRC.“
“Great little spot in Kingston with delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. The space is small and seating can be tight but you can order ahead. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. We had the country wrap and southwestern wrap. Both were flavorful and filling. I recommend this spot for a quick bite and delicious meal!“
“Absolutely the best meal I've had in the 3 years that I've moved to New York State. My friend said the same thing for their meal. I'm a vegan and had no problem with meal selections. The portions are big and very fillingYou must make a reservation, and parking outside can be a challenge during the day, but in the evening, we had no problem. This is worth the drive from anywhere.“
“WOW! "The Cabo" is their take on Avocado Toast & it is DELICIOUS to the MAX. The spicy guac on the toast is a nice added element to this delectable creation. It was full of flavor & crafted beautifully. I WILL be back & look forward to trying more of their delicious menu, possibly a smoothie next. The culture in the team that works there is full of LIFE!“
“You can't go wrong here - but you are in for a treat if you order the meatloaf sandwich! We love getting frozen dishes as well and heating them at home. Nana's has quickly become our go-to for Thanksgiving turkey and the frozen pot pies are a mainstay of our freezer.“
“Went with friends for a birthday celebration. Veggie burgers are house made, crispy tater tots, rib eye, and chicken sammy were all good. Live music began as we were leaving. Good time!Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers are house made!Parking: Lots of room to park.“
“Love it. But! The Kingston/Lake Katrine location is closing to the public next week. ☹️ It will be for production and staff only. Wouldn’t mind working there! ? I just love the cafe here, big, open space, delicious baked goods. I really think this big cafe idea is a good one, but I understand it might not be the priority as production and staff is important, of course.“
