“Placed a large delivery order recently with Main Street Pizza and it did not disappoint! We got 7 pies (plain, buffalo, pepperoni, white) and they were all enjoyed by our large group! We also got a tray of Caesar salad and 2 orders of garlic knots (so good!). 10/10 recommend Main Street Pizza to anyone visiting Lake Placid!“

“Jimmy's 21 has become our traditional first-dinner-in-Lake-Placid preferred location. This time, we came with our four-year-old, and it was just as enjoyable as when we've come as a couple or with a group of 8+. The top-notch service, high quality food, and relaxed but romantic atmosphere are always consistent, and very much anticipated. The views of Whiteface and Mirror Lake are so exquisite. We love it here, and it remains one of our all-time favorites!“

“Cute dinner with unique. Food is average dinner fare and prices are a bit high for the food. Was disappointed this trip as it wasn't as great of an experience as my first time. Eggs are now the fake bag mixes that have stuff I'm allergic to. Coffee was weak and tasted like they used the grounds a second time and looked like a light tea blend.“

“We went to Dancing Bears with a group of 6 for a bachelor party and had a great time! The restaurant was super clean and really easy to get to right from downtown Lake Placid. The food was excellent, and the staff were all super friendly. Our waitress even surprised one of our group with a little birthday cake, which was a really nice touch. Prices were pretty average for this type of place, and overall the experience was great. Definitely would recommend it and would go again!“

“Location is prime…decor is cosy and clean. Food is delicious…we eat steaks, pastas, seafood, appetizer’s, desserts, we had drinks, all the food and drinks were delicious. We were e party of seven and unanimously agreed, food and service was amazing. The staff are amazing, super polite always smiling and always right next to you if you if you need them. This is our place to go to, every time we come to Lake Placid. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners. You are the best!!!“

“We stopped at the Pub this afternoon and had a great experience! The food and beverages were very good but our server Max was amazing!! A few of us in our group have been servers for many years and appreciated his attentiveness, personality and sense of humor. We will be back to see him for sure“

“We have been to Generations many times, consider ourselves locals! We live in Queensbury, NY, so we're able to get there 2 to 3 times a year! Our most recent visit was on May 22, our 54th Anniversary. Generations is our go-to place to eat...breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour! The food is so fresh and made to order. The wait staff is superb, especially Desiree, who we had this time...and Megan, who we've had in the past! Great job ladies, keep up the great work! 🩷 We also love staying at the Golden Arrow!“

The were also cold and dry no sauce at all.(except the blue cheese that came open)Called to get a refund for my $25 and the owner was extremely rude. “We live close to Lake Placid. My only regret is that we didn’t try this place sooner. First let me say the beer was ice cold, server very nice and friendly and attentive. Now the food, best wings by far I have ever had. Just the right amount of smoke flavor and the sauce was nothing I have tasted before. I had a burrito with brisket and every bite had another delicious flavor. My husband had a burger that was also amazing. If you are in the area, this is a must try!“

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The pizza is absolutely incredible. “My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon dinner. The prime rib was excellent, and my wife had a NY strip that was grilled to perfection. We ended it if two Irish coffees. The even took the time to make one decaf for my wife. Great job!“
