“Had a great dinner experience at this chill, back-of-town place. Great vibe/atmosphere. Food was very good - brussel sprouts, crispy fish and chips, maple bread pudding for dessert. All really good. Low-ish alcohol (5.0%) IPA from attached Hired Hand brewing was very good. Recommend this place. Looking forward to going back.“

“So glad we stopped in at this place! They stayed open in a snowstorm for us, and we couldn't be more grateful. The food was delicious and affordable, and the service was prompt and extremely friendly. This place should have a much better rating for how great an experience we had!“

“Delicious food and excellent service! We’d walked in without a reservation and were told that unfortunately it would be about a 45 minute wait — a few minutes later when we were walking down the street looking for somewhere else to eat, the manager flagged us down on the street to let us know some bar seating had cleared out early. Well worth it as the service, ambiance, and food were amazing! Don’t miss the shrimp lulu and shacksbury dry cider.“

“Enjoyed a pre-concert dinner at Black Sheep. Despite being quite a bit early for our reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated. We had great cocktails and an appetizer of homemade chips and a sweet potato dip. Once we were ready to order, two of us chose the steak entree, one a fish entree and I had a roasted beet dish. All spectacular. My dessert of maple flan was memorable. Street parking was easy and our meal made me wish we were locals.“
