“We made reservations for our large group ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making recommendations from the menu. The food was all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meal. About half of our group hadn’t had Indian food before but they all left as fans! The waiter was able to easily guide the vegan in our group to a variety options for him. We all enjoyed tea and a sweet at the end. We are so glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.“

“What a cool trendy place. Upon nearing the establishment, you can already smell unique smells of this different cuisine. The Turkish and Mediterranean dishes are varied in flavours, ones you will not find elsewhere. We opted for the bar on a busy Friday evening. The place was packed. We had olives, the cucumber dish, octopus, chicken wings and fattoush. I can’t get over the sweet harissa and caramelization of the chicken wings. These are basically unlike any chicken wings you’ve ever had. The cocktails, especially the green tequila based one, were excellent and strong. Our bartender was lovely and charismatic, while being attentive. She even surprised us with a dish and created a unique cocktail for me. Can’t wait to return next time we visit the area.“

“Really nice menu. Highlights include the custom charcuterie (sp?) where the olives were fabulous and the daily house made mozzarella was absolutely the best I've ever had.
Pizzas are really good with a nice dough, thin crust, and obviously a hot wood fired oven.
Service was a little slow and a little forgetful. It was a saturday night, so the kithchen was understandably under pressure, but on top of this, our waiter was just inattentive.“

“WONDERFUL!! We just had a surprise birthday party for our son at BBC. We worked with Ian Greenfield who made everything so easy! They were excellent with their communication and accommodations. I had several last-minute changes, and Ian was gracious with every change. I would not hesitate to hold another event there in the future. Food was excellent, atmosphere (we had 1/2 of the Helios room) was perfect, and Luke (the person assigned to serve us) was so attentive and provided outstanding service.

We've been coming here long enough that the staff greet us like neighbors - and that warmth is half the reason we keep coming back. The other half is the food, which is consistently some of the most flavorful cooking in the area.
My personal standout is the Vegan Panang Curry, currently on the menu and absolutely not to be missed. It's rich, deeply spiced, and genuinely one of the best dishes I've had anywhere - not just at a Thai restaurant, but anywhere full stop. The vegetables are vibrant and perfectly cooked, and the sauce has that layered complexity you just don't find everywhere.
One honest heads-up: seating is limited and it's first-come, first-served, so there can be a wait. We've never once regretted staying. Once the food arrives, the wait becomes a distant memory.

“My husband and I tried the Guild the other night to celebrate my birthday and had an incredible meal. We ordered drinks, the Steak Tartare, rolls, the filet minion special, the ribeye and finished it off with orange crème brûlée and the Guild sundae. Top notch mango lassi. Mango and yogurt combination was top tier.
Chicken Korma was less on the sweetness, different than our local place back home, but I actually prefer the one here. Flavor was wonderful and hit all the rights spots.
Tandoori chicken was a huge portion and we ended up taking home leftovers enough to be another meal!

“I love this place so much. I have been a patriot since it was at its small shop. What I love about it is that the customer service is always wonderfully friendly. it feels like I'm walking into their home to eat their mom's home cooking. I have traveled around and tried pho soup to assess which one is the best. I have gone to Florida Virginia all around the East Coast and hands down their pho soup is the best of the best! I even brought my sister with confidence and she's never tried Vietnamese food before and she had her mind alone. her and her daughter are quite the foodies themselves and they were pleasantly and wonderfully surprised. they said this is the best they ever had!“
