“We traveled from Maryland to East Aurora to pick up a snowmobile. We arrived early so we found The Poked Yolk. We waited in the parking lot because of traveling arriving before they opened. The whole experience couldn’t have been any better. The host (owner) was super and the food (Lumberjack & almond cranberry pancakes) were probably the best we ever had. “Old school, fast food dining experience. Excellent service, very clean facilities and good food. Not many places to get char grilled dogs anymore but these are good. “My favorite place for a sub, I get one every time I can get over to Akron. I hope they never change the recipe for the sub oil they use. It's one of the best aspects of the subs here! The pizza had a good amount of toppings and cheese and a nice crispy crust. The wings were awesome as well BIG and plump with a perfect amount of sauce and their blue cheese is to die for, must be homemade. Then a week later we ordered the chicken finger sub, ham sub and fries. The subs were HUGE and delicious, my husband couldn't stop taking about the chicken finger sub, needless to say he loved it, my ham sub was just as good. All fresh toppings and tons of meat on both. “This morning, Monday, October 9th, 2023, a friend of mine and I went here for breakfast. My ALS keeps creeping up more and more with muscle loss and continuing inabilities to function. I cannot cut my food anymore, so someone has to do it for me. By the time a friend or relative cuts something for me, it's cool or cold. By the time I eat it, it's absolutely cold. So I asked the incredibly genteel and decent waitress if there was a way that my food could be cut up into small pieces for me in the kitchen. I have never asked this of a restaurant before, and I was a bit concerned that it would be a real imposition, because they were pretty busy. But the waitress told me that if her grandfather had the same problem, that she hoped that people would help him and that she wanted to cut it up for me herself. It almost brought tears to my eyes, because eating out has been such a feeling of frustration for me. So what happens? Someone from the kitchen staff comes out to tell me that they're taking care of it for me and that I should always feel welcome at this restaurant and never feel that I'm being an imposition. Then the waitress, who cut up the food and served it, wanted to make sure that she had done a good job. My food was still hot and just got warm as I kept eating, as normally happens with any plate of food. It was such a feeling of normalcy for me in my condition, that I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful these people are and the food! That's why I wanted to go here, because I missed the fresh salmon on top of an English muffin with spinach, soft sunny side ups with hollandaise sauce! They make this dish fantastic here and I was able to eat it while it was still hot! Thank you everybody! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, as you all are truly terrific?“

“This is a modern Greek restaurant with a mixture of popular traditional dishes - Like Gyro's, Souvlaki, and Spanikopita. The parking is tight and gets full quick, so you may need to find parking out on Main street. The restaurant reminds me of a greek "Family Diner" style with their menu options, but the restaurant is updated with a modern ambience. Try not to be seated towards the rear of the restaurant, as the main entrance door is also there. So it's a bit drafty from the cold outside air hitting your legs. This is winter of coarse, so I can't say you would experience the same during the spring and summer months - Which they do have outdoor seating. The food however was fresh and not over cooked like some greek restaurants. I would pick this place over a traditional greek family diner, drafty or not.“

I got a “build your own” bowl with shrimp, jasmine rice, spring mix, edamame, corn, kimchi, jalapeños, broccoli, spicy mayo, and of course topped it with the staff recommended Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. “I love coming here! I am hooked on the Concord grape salad dressing (so unique) and the build your own options. The menu of salad bar and pizza makes me feel like I'm getting a well balanced meal of something healthy and something tasty all with super fresh ingredients made right in front of my eyes. My fave menu item here is the bbq chicken pizza (wood oven) and build your own salad with lots of goodies topped with Concord grape dressing. The portion to pricing ratio is very fair imo as you can choose diff sizes for each. The menu is full yet not overwhelming making it easy to choose. I got busy with my day and ended up calling her at 11:35 am I was able to pick up it up at 11:50 am for a noon time lunch.
