“Hunan Larchmont has been my family’s favorite restaurant since my children were very young. We have celebrated many occasions there throughout the years and love the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Their food is always fresh and delicious!“

“I ordered from GrubHub and was disappointed because it took twice as long as stated to deliver my order. I must say though, the restaurant continued to call me until they got ahold of me to personally apologize for the delay and offer free food on my next order. I thought that was above & beyond considering they really didn't have to since I had my food at that time. I am in sales, and you could tell it was a sincere apology. I wish there was an option to edit my review on GrubHub, I guess I will just have to give them 5 stars on my next order! They are also really great about reading the special instructions which is not the case for all places!“

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

Parking: if youre not local, its best to just uber or take the subway here. Not really worth getting your car messed up or waste time driving around to find parking.

“Dining at Moli is always an incredible experience! It is my favorite restaurant and I love bringing guests here. Every time I walk in, I'm in awe of the gorgeous bar and chandelier. The ambiance is great, crowded but never too noisy. Food is consistently excellent. We are big fans of the appetizers and the fried rice dishes. “This is the most horrible restaurant place I've ever ordered from. I ordered and picked up in store. I ordered "Roast Pork with Chinese vegetables" I specifically asked if the vegetables included bok choy and was assured that it did. When I got home with the food the only vegetable included with the Pork was celery. Just a container of pork and celery, another time I ordered BBQ Ribs and it was a very small order and some of them were burned. When I questioned the counter person he answered that they had run out. Then why did they sell, and charge me an order? Don't order food from this place, If you want to enjoy it, it is BAD and they.“

“Without question this is the best Chinese restaurant on Long Island. This is a place you come to eat high end food, not basic Chinese food, although I do see people ordering it. They are missing the best part of this restaurant, which is their food quality and preparation techniques. For instance if you order Dim Sum, it will come to the table with exotic hand carvings of a variety of birds and animals all made from food that you will feel the need to take a picture of. Its hard to actually talk about specific dishes because they make every kind of food from all areas of China. The meat is the same as the best steak houses and the fish is always fresh. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or bad experience here.“

“Extremely delicious and authentic Chinese food. As a white person who grew up in Fuzhou, China, this place instantly reminded me of my hometown. The flavors dance on my tongue like a beautiful ballet and my mouth is enveloped in heavenly textures. I seriously recommend this to EVERYONE. As someone who is currently living in Flushing, Queens, I drive to here every week with my wife and two kids. One time my kid didn't like the water the restaurant served, so of course I had to use the kung fu I learned to discipline them. Anyhow, this has to be the best restaurant on Earth. Bright green veggies, even the scallions that the cooks garnished on the plates.The meat didn't have the typical freezer burn taste.Even the rice was plump as if expertly cooked in a fancy overpriced Manhattan place.The service... The solo cook was handling everything but took the time to even clear a table for my group among the boxes of supplies and hand delivered all the food. Even asked if everything was ok.When I asked for hot sauce, he gave me the legit chili sauce you find in Chinese supermarkets.This is the type of place that is a regional hidden gem. I ordered a happy family which came with white rice, shrimp and broccoli that came with egg roll and pork fried rice and general tso with lo mein.

I give it five stars because every time I've been in this establishment I always feel very comfortable and welcome with the staff.
