“We had a great night at Lenny's Steakhouse with my wife and son. The restaurant was packed, yet the service was smooth and welcoming. Shpresa, the hostess and owner, runs the room beautifully and sets the tone for the entire experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the ossobuco was excellent—rich, tender, and full of flavor. A consistently great spot for a special night or a family dinner. Highly recommend.“

The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. “I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. “Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“

“My friend and I - both longtime lovers of Asian cuisine - were originally headed to another spot for lunch, but it was closed for a break until 5 PM. Hungry Monster was nearby, so we decided to give it a try - and we’re so glad we did!
Though the restaurant is small, it’s incredibly cozy and comfortable, with a mix of four-person tables and bar-style seating with stools. When we arrived, there were only a couple of teenagers sipping smoothies, so we practically had the place to ourselves. That meant we got the full attention of our wonderful waiter, Biscuit, who was very attentive and made us feel well cared for from start to finish.
We both ordered their signature dish package - I chose the soup-based seafood package, and my friend ordered the beef version. Each dish came served in a small cauldron, full of different ingredients and rich flavor. The portions were generous, so I ended up taking half of mine home. As a nice touch, they packed my leftovers in a high-quality branded bag with the restaurant’s name, which I really appreciated.
We ended our meal with drinks - mine was a refreshing grapefruit and lemon green tea, and my friend had a Mango Tea Yakult, which was fruity, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
The ambiance added to the experience. The decor combines traditional Asian elements with anime-style art, even on the bathroom door! It was fun, vibrant, and gave the place a unique personality. Pleasant background music played throughout the meal - it was noticeable enough to enhance the atmosphere but soft enough not to interfere with conversation.
Some practical notes:
• They offer delivery, and you can get a 10% discount on takeout if you pay in cash.
• They’re open every day.
• The only downside is parking - limited spots in front of the restaurant and no obvious public parking nearby. You can risk parking in the nearby plaza, but there are tow warnings posted. Thankfully, we didn’t have any trouble.
All in all, we had a wonderful lunch at Hungry Monster. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the whole experience felt welcoming and personal. We’ve been to many Asian restaurants before, and this one stood out in the best way.

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

Reminded me of some of the seafood places I went to as a kid on Long Island. The fish is fresh and delicious, well priced and well portioned. The sides are simple (e.g. sauteed spinach, baked potato, etc.) but well done. Loved the baked clams and chowder, too. Prices are extra high, though that's to be expected, this is Westchester. “This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Things were screwed up from beginning to end with absolutely no sense of apology or remorse. We had a 630 reservation, showed up on time, but we weren't seated until almost 7pm. The waiter came to our table for the first time at 720pm. We had researched the menu ahead of time to make sure there were kid friendly options, but since it was Mother's Day, they were operating with a different menu which is totally fine. We asked the waiter if they had any kid friendly food that wasn't on the menu and he said no and that all we can get is what's listed on the menu, so we went ahead and ordered. About 20 mins after we ordered, we saw that the kids at the table next to us were eating chicken fingers and french fries, so we asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about that option. He said that we didn't ask and he got a bit of an attitude about it. Luckily he was able to change our order and the kids got chicken tenders. We waited patiently for an incredibly long time for our food to come out, and at about 830, I got up and asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and he again gave me an attitude like I was ruining his night and he said "soon". The food came out about 2 minutes later, so we were hopefully going to get on with our evening. Upon further inspection, the chicken tenders that they delivered to my daughter were RAW. Not just slightly under cooked, completely raw, pink, cold chicken. We called the waiter over again and he again had an attitude when we sent the food back. Again, not even a hint of an apology to be found. When the chicken came back out, it was completely burnt, but we decided it wasn't worth the time to talk to the waiter about it again. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours with a 5 and 8 year old kid, so we just wanted to be done and get out. Again, at no point during this experience did a single person offer an apology or even show an ounce of remorse for how terrible the service was. They ruined my wife and mother-in-law's Mother's Day dinner and they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. We are a local family, but we will never go back there again. I will also make it a point to tell everyone I know that Caffe Regatta is a terrible restaurant.“
