“It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.“

“saw this place thru a tiktok video series made by their son and wanted to give it a try for the longest time. they were closed the first time we came but today was the day. we ordered two double smash burgers with fries and a potato korean corn dog. these were probably the best corn dogs i have ever had. these were way better than the ones you get at Tangram or the other food halls. it was crunchy and not oily at all. i absolutely will get it again. the smash burgers were amazing! we were not expecting them to be huge and full of flavor! the owners were so so so sweet and attentive. we decided to try their twisted donut and omg it was one of the best donuts i have had. they were made to order and it was so soft and fluffy inside. the cinnamon sugar was a nice touch to it. i HIGHLY recommend getting the donut ? the owner also brought out two fried oreos covered in their two sugars that they offered for us to try. those were also really good too!! wayyy better than the American version you get at the state fair. will most definitely be coming back and letting others know about this lovely place! ?“

“Some of the best cookies I ever tasted. Me and some work colleagues accidentally walked a mile to the factory instead of the actual cookie store on accident. instead of turning us around the owner came out, gave us a tour of the factory and gave us cookies and a story about how they got started. It was an amazing gesture, I recommend these cookies and they have the best business opportunity if you’re interested in opening a store yourself great people great service great cookies.“

I was ordering mochi donuts and debated picking my last flavor, when the lady behind the counter mentioned the s’mores flavor was really popular and that it didn’t contain gelatin. She saw me in a hijab and abaya and knew to inform me that I could even consider the s’mores flavor as an option. For religious dietary reasons, I usually don’t bother gravitating towards anything with marshmallow, as most places use pork gelatin. I left the shop smiley about customer service and trying a flavor I don’t usually have the luxury of getting. This kind of service where vendors are culturally aware is rare - even in a diverse city like NYC. Definitely was a first time experience at a place that doesn’t explicitly cater towards Muslims or halal eating customers & it meant so much!! “I thought I didn’t have cash on me and the owner offered my little one a free cookie after I told her I left my money. That in itself deserves 5 stars. I found my cash shortly after but he refused to take the money so I placed it in the tip jar. Since this incident we have been a loyal customer and will stop by for a cookie or two every Thursdays. Thank you so much for your kind heart and for making my little one smile. We also love the strawberry cakes!“

I ordered a half sheet strawberry shortcake and Lidia came up with a brilliant idea to accommodate what I wanted for the cake. For me, what separates good customer service and exemplary customer service is when I ask for something and if it's not possible, I'm offered an alternative. That's EXACTLY what Lidia did for me. Her brilliant idea made my relative's birthday cake EXTRA special!!! I also ordered 4 lbs of cannolis. BEST CANNOLIS IN QUEENS. Fresh, perfect taste & consistency & sweetness. Cannolis without chocolate chips are divine and Joe's is the Holy Grail. The cookies were so good as well. Thank you to the entire staff @ Joe's Sicilian Bakery. “So in-love with their ube cake! Must if you really want to get a good ube cake! Location: It is located along Queens Boulevard. The store was typical bakery, few seatings inside. Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. Unlike other ube cakes that the cream does not taste ube! I almost eat half of the cake because it is so good! Price rating: 7/10, $45 for a round cake. Thats the usual price now for more stores! Definitely will come back here I will try their other flavors! But get the ube cake!!“

Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “I really like the service here, the people and most especially the amazing iced coffee they serve! However, most of the other food is mediocre at best. But it works. I’m quite surprised no one has really written about some of the baked items, except that we’re probably all relieved to have some semblance of a bakery within walking distance. However, at times the food served is slightly stale, having been refrigerated for too many days. I was served a dry, stale piece of flan that was refrigerated for too long on a tray, instead of in its caramelized sugar liquid in a container, like it’s supposed to be. The cakes are over-dyed, dry and usually too sweet, or lacking in flavor completely. I’m not sure if anything is actually fresh-baked on site. But for a walking-distance Argentine bakery that speaks our “language,” I feel we tend to make lots of allowances in this neighborhood.“

“This is the cutest little bakeshop in the neighborhood. I've tried 3 of their cupcakes: the grand opening, cuban love and chocolate explosion. All three were rich and delicious but the cuban love was my favorite. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the cake to icing ratio on the cupcakes are not to my liking. There isn't enough cake for the amount of icing, espeically since the cupcakes have fillings throughout the center. Other than that, it's always a pleasant experience when visiting Leidylicious Cakes!“

“Amazing place in Great Neck! Their Dolgona coffee is amazing, as are their mochi donuts and croffles. Everything is fresh which is extra impressive considering many of their items don't last long, so they are cognizant to only make a bit at a time. The banana Nutella croffle as well as the Oreo croffle were delicious. We tried the black sesame and purple sweet potato mochi donuts and were not disappointed. They have egg tarts as well which were great. The staff here always greet us and are very professional during the visit. Restaurant is very clean and chic too, plenty of plants to brighten up the space. I highly recommend. There is metered parking long the street.“

“I love this place. My favorite cookie flavor is the cookies and cream. My mom normally goes to pick them up for me but today I went myself for the first time and it was an amazing experience from walking in smelling the cookies, be greeted by/ talking to the cashier as well as introducing my friend to the heaven of cookies. She tried three different flavors, but I will stand by the cookies and cream forever and ever. After leaving, I looked up if there were any other locations and almost cried seeing that there were several locations in the city as well as Long Island.“

“Almost born and raised in New York and I say they have the BEST bagels in NYC. I have been eating bagels from JK Bakery since high school and have not found bagels that are better tasting than here! The lady behind the counter is pretty generous when you buy a dozen - I miss the spreads they use to have - egg salad, tuna salad, etc., it was really good. But even plain bagel as is also great. Be quick and know what you want - service is really quick. Avoid morning hours 8-9 am is probably their busiest morning rush.“

“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“
