“Several things set Cho-Sen apart from other Chinese eateries, Kosher or not. Including the unique and crispy-delicious wonton strips - or in this case, wafers - that are on the table next to duck sauce. You won't want to again settle for the bland, noodle-shaped ones served everywhere else. These are in a class by themselves. As was the Sweet & Sour chicken. It wasn't my idea to order that, but I was glad we did because it was the best chicken I ever had in a Chinese restaurant. My two dining companions would agree. We could not believe how tasty the s&s nuggets were, but then, it's kosher chicken which is the best, right? The egg drop soup was also superb. The next time I go though, I will request that the eggplant come floating - not drowning - in garlic sauce. It was still tasty though. Next visit, I won't order steamed dumplings that we felt were too thick-skinned doughy (see my pic). And finally, the Lamb with veggies Special was good, but I think I prefer lamb at an Indian restaurant. These minor negatives were not enough to take away from a great meal, but enough to take away one star. I highly recommend Cho-Sen!!“
“This wasn't my first visit. The food, is always delicious. The two gentleman, one behind the counter and the server, we're professional and courteous. In my prior visit, there was a woman there outright unfriendly.“

Another fancy pantsy bathroom.
Customer
Very nice to us, gave us suggestions as to what to eat, and made nice small talk
It’s giving river town cuz there was a walkway way in the middle that was raised a little. Also loved the aquarium.
Don’t know how I feel about the food. Everything was cooked well, well seasoned, and sauces were great. But I think some of the dishes were lacking depth. But that’s a minor critique.
Wow: 0.75/1

“food was amazing. I was born in Harbin and spent my childhood there so I know exactly what authentic Harbin food should taste like. This is the real north-eastern Chinese food and trust me this lovely little spot will impress you. The price on the menu may seem to be a little bit of expensive but the portion is generous af (thats what Chinese northeastern food are supposed to be). I would recommend double crispy pork slices with sweet & sour sauce锅包肉, stir-fried duo 溜两段 and LanZhou noodles 兰州拉面(this is a Chinese northwestern local famous but still very tasty).“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“OUTSTANDING lamb skewers (see picture). This stall sits in a quiet corner of the New World Mall food court and it is totally worth a try, and for me, multiple return visits. The price, authenticity of food and stoicism of the proprietors is a remarkable combo that could make you swear you we’re back in Hotan or Kashgar enjoying the finest eats around.“

“When Xiaohong went there, many people recommended the red oil noodles from this store. As a Sichuanese, of course I had to try it! A portion costs 10? and there is no table to eat in. To me, the taste is just edible and mediocre. Chili pepper has almost no spiciness and no fragrance. It is said to be Chaoshou, but in fact it is the chaos of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. It has nothing to do with Chaoshou. Hope you guys have a better experience here!“

“Excellent service, first Chinese restaurant that I feel like I was in Colombia, unsurpassed service, they spoiled my child a lot and were attentive to what I was giving him, which was very hot, they brought him happiness cookies, they talked to him about why he didn't want to eat I recommend it 100% and it happens to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. In addition, the food is very delicious and at an excellent price. As you can see, we both left very happy.
Vegetarian options: There are many dishes with vegetables
Parking: At the front there is payment and at the back there is free

“We have ordered here a few times and we really enjoy it. We ordered the boneless spareribs, some shrimp, eggrolls, chicken, lo mein, cheese wontons and curry, beef, and cashew chicken.
Cheese wontons were crunchy and sweet and delicious .
Chicken lo mein hit the spot perfectly
The curry beef was heavy, but very flavorful.
The boneless spareribs were perfect , perfect flavor, perfect chewing is crunchy and very satisfying.
The cashew chicken had a lot of protein, a lot of vegetables and an excellent flavor , we thought it was gonna be very sweet, but it was not. It was perfectly balanced.
We have had the meat skewers before and LOVE them, but didn’t order them this last time because my mom likes an assortment of Chinese food.
This restaurant is so delicious and “hits” perfectly definitely come check them out !!
Kid-friendliness: There are chicken nuggets, chicken wings, and french fries, on the menu, all of which my child who only eats two things would eat!
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on street level so it’s wheelchair accessible and not overly crowded with furniture.“

“I'm not a chinese food expert but the sweet and sour ribs were excellent, full of flavor and delicious. The beef udon noodles were unbelievably good and I couldn't eat enough.
You have to hand it to the staff for being so attentive and quick , same to the kitchen for getting the dishes out fast.
A very enjoyable meal and prices are in line with most restaurants these days.
The only pita was the parking situation, you have to find a spot on the street or in a garage, be careful.“

“They serve the most authentic and delicious rolled noodles (Hong Kong street style)! I'm impressed this tiny shop actually provides a decent varieties and I recommend this place at all costs! Yes, the price has been going up but I still support this one and only place in Flushing! By the way all ladies have different characters lol, they are nice and helpful. Usual wait time is 5 - 10 minutes.“

“First off let me say that the staff is incredibly nice and the ingredients are very fresh, dishes are flavorful. The pork dishes and eggplant are absolutely delicious. Staff is so helpful in accommodating vegans. I don’t think they explain stinky tofu properly to all patrons especially those who need the explaining like us. We went by the reviews of everyone here saying wow the stinky tofu, but if you’ve never had stinky tofu in your life and don’t know what to expect, it is quite literal. The braised stinky tofu we ordered came with gravy (maybe the other dry ones are delicious I don’t know) but ours smelled and tasted like ummm and I don’t say this lightly… vomit. It’s been 24 hours and I cannot erase the memory of the stench. Maybe it’s our fault for not researching it well but also kind of theirs for no real guidance on the menu or in person. Either way just wanted to write this for anyone who is curious about the take of someone who’s never tried it before and will probably not try it again.
Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be made vegan and that part is well explained“

“Came here to grab a quick bite before going on my day and this is your typical neighborhood neighborhood Chinese takeout spot. You have a large menu with fairly good options and the standard bright yellow fried rice that's usually around. The price is reasonable and there are lunch specials and combo options too. Not bad for somewhere to get something quick. It's more a takeout spot but you can also sit and eat if you want to and they are pretty accommodating in that regard. Not a bad option to consider in the area.
Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian section and if there are other questions and requests, please ask the staff. They might be able to accommodate you
Dietary restrictions: Please ask the staff and see if it is possible to accommodate you
Parking: This is in a strip mall that is a popular destination so it can get busy here. But there are usually enough spots available
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“

“Service and food is always excellent. I believe it is a family that owns it and I sometimes see the son and daughter there. Very nice, kind and hardworking people. I love to get the Singapore mei fun, chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and their egg rolls. I highly recommend supporting this business when in need of quick and yummy food for lunch or dinner. They make things pretty fresh so it’s good to call 20 minutes ahead of time if you are getting take out. Maybe a half an hour if you are getting a large order.“

“This is an unassuming little restaurant with excellent food. Their orange chicken is unusually good, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy, and a texture that is crispy rather than doughy. Another favorite of mine is Singapore chow mei fun- a moderately spicy noodle dish with satisfying full flavor, not just heat.“

“Great lunch special options.
We had jjampong which is a spicy hand pulled noodles with seafood. Their broth has deep oyster/seafood taste and it was one of the best I had.
Combination of various dishes and jajangmyon (brown noodle) are great.
I took out shrimp with brown noodles and dumplings for my son and he loved it.
I got the sweet and sour beef (Tangsuyuk) for my in-laws and they really enjoyed it.
Quick and efficient service. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.“

“Came here to try their shrimp crab meat noodle and pork & crab soup dumplings.
Generous servings of crab meat sauce over the noodle ensures that each bite you take adequately provides a satisfying taste of the crab meat.
Broth inside the soup dumplings is plenty and delicious.
Will definitely be back next time to try other items on their menu. Also liked their jasmine tea which was very fragrant.“

“Wasn't so familiar with malatang specifically, but we've had plenty cultural variations of it. You put what you want in a bowl and they add the broth. Good amount of potential ingredients and was a sizable dish-was able to share one bowl between two people. The broth was nice.
We also grabbed some meat skewers which we probably didn't need-didn't add much to the meal. The meat in the broth was nice. I'm a little confused about the offerings for the dipping sauce as it seemed a bit random, but it did the job.
We were the only ones there when we went so everything came quick.“

“New China is a staple in the community, such a great place!! Good food, great staff (I love that they speak Spanish for our large Hispanic population), and solid prices. The first place my family thinks of when wanting to get an easy take out for dinner. Just sad they don’t have delivery but it’s understandable. Recommend this place for sure!!“
