“Chosen island is a fixture. Well so many of the kosher eateries have come and gone over the years, chosen island has been here for the long haul, and hopefully is here to stay. It has a lovely classy ambience. The food is always fresh and delicious. The wait staff is attentive. I highly recommend the Steak Kew and get it done rare/medium rare. But really you can't go wrong with anything. Consistently good food. I've never had a bad experience there. Also, the prices are reasonable. Main courses start in the 25 to 30 range.“

“I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.
We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Positively delicious in so many ways. Such a pleasant surprise. Flavors are reminiscent of home cooking that sooth and excite at the same time. Can't say how much we enjoyed dining here, and will certainly be back! The staff are also extremely nice and attentive, a great experience all around.“

“I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.“

“HUGE portion sizes for the price (lowkey could’ve just ordered one regular size). Ended up w too much food and took home lots of leftovers
Went during Christmas time and got the seasonal deal: “Buy Combo for Two (2 Regular Portion Main Dishes +1 Snack + 2 Drinks) And Enjoy $10 OFF Your Bill,” but they forgot to take the $10 off so had to ask specifically. Next time, skip this and get the snakehead large portion set meal for two people
- Signature aromatic hot oil suancai fish (snakehead fish regular portion): Reallllyyy yummy and tasted better than the laotan suancai. Not really spicy, but too oily
- Laotan suancai fish (basa fish regular portion): Kinda mala. Mushroom and cabbage was a yummy free add on
- Brown sugar glutinous rice cake: VERY yummy and SO chewy and warm. Must get side
- Passionate fruit tea: Too sweet, not a fan. Tried the milk tea too - get this instead
* Note: idk the diff b/w basa and snakehead fish, tasted the same to me. Both were tender“

“I came for dinner and ordered the General Tso's Chicken combo platter. The portions were generous and tasted really good. The staff is friendly, and my order was confirmed once more before payment. It really shows how careful the staff are with their job.“

“Wontons in chili oil were very good. I think the chili oil sauce was not the absolute best I have had but was good. But the combination of that and the wontons, which were thin with a great ratio of meat made the dish overall a great value.“

“When the food is THIS good… you have to eat with your hands 😭🔥
Found the most underrated Uyghur cuisine in Flushing’s New World Mall food court.
Their Uyghur Polo came with a WHOLE lamb shank for $13.99
The Spicy Cold Chicken for $10.99 is crazy flavorful too.
Authentic, affordable, and seriously satisfying. This is the Uyghur spot NYC needed. RUN.“

“Royal Queen Restaurant has been a cherished part of my family’s dining tradition for many years. From coming here with my parents years ago to now bringing my own baby niece, this place continues to be our top choice for authentic Chinese dim sum in NYC. The quality is consistently excellent—everything from the har gow to the siu mai is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The menu offers a wide variety of dim sum and full entrees, so there’s always something for everyone. While the dim sum may be slightly more expensive than some of the nearby spots, the difference is well worth it. The atmosphere here is far more spacious and elegant, making it a much more comfortable setting for family gatherings compared to the tighter, noisier places in the area. It never feels rushed or overcrowded, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. Another major plus is the two-hour free parking when you spend $100 or more—a lifesaver when you’re dining with a group like my family of five. It’s convenient, reliable, and takes the stress out of finding parking in Flushing. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a special occasion, Royal Queen consistently delivers.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

“The Peking Duck here is tasty with rich flavor and crispy skin, but the meat itself was a bit too tough and chewy, making it hard to bite through cleanly. While the seasoning and presentation were enjoyable, the texture of the duck could definitely be improved for a better dining experience.“

“The best Indian food in the Bellerose/Floral Park area. Food is very delicious and owner and staff are very friendly. I order from here frequently and the quality of the food is very consistent/good. Alo Gobi, Bindi, channa masala, Gobi Manchurian, paneer makhani, chili paneer are some of my favorites.“

“The staff were polite, patient and welcoming. The woman working was very patient and helpful to help me pick my order. The food was great; there’s nothing I could nit-pick about it. Food was fresh, hot, tasty. I ordered this fried chicken cutlet with rice combination platter. But to be honest, I’m convinced whatever I ordered was gonna taste great and fresh. The vibe was relaxed and cozy. Easy 5/5, you got great people making great food.“

“Food its great but there’s always an actitud when delivery, we’re paying for the food and giving tip it passed no more than a minute since the doorbell rang we live in the 3rd floor we can’t open the door the second the door rang we have to go down 3 floors he/she was complaining. We like the food, we will order again hope your costumer service improves!!!!!“

“Bit of a hole in the wall place off the beaten path. Very friendly workers here but there is no service per se. You order off a touch screen and food is brought to you. This includes water and drinks.
The food is simple and good. We've gone twice and the first time was better with the soup lacking a bit of flavor last time we went.
It's simple and clean food prepared well but honestly I don't think this is a top 100 NYC restaurant despite the reviews. (Also bathrooms are clean and nice which is a plus)
Definitely give it a shot though.“

“Tried a new halal Chinese spot in Valley Stream and it did not disappoint! The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. Such a cute little place and a great option for halal Chinese in Valley Stream!“

“I was definitely skeptic and being on a boulevard and the outside but once inside, I was welcome immediately and given recommendations with the upmost attention to detail and customization I have a pork allergy and my nephew had a nut allergy and they were overly accommodating. My nephew also physically disabled and in a wheelchair and they went above and beyond to accommodate us with plenty of space. Love love love the food was DELICIOUS and hot made to order I loved it here def going back“

“The shop is quite small, so you might walk right past it without realizing it’s there. To find it more easily, just remember it’s right next to Dunkin' and has a blue sign.
The service is super nice and friendly, but it’s a takeout-only spot, so keep in mind that you'll need to find a place to eat—unless you can't wait and just eat right there! We walked all the way to Tangram Mall to sit down, but by then, the food was already cold.
When the server asks if you want sauce, make sure to get everything. If you like heat, ask for extra Sriracha; if you prefer something nutty and saucy, ask for more peanut butter sauce. I also grabbed a tea egg for just $1—an absolute steal and very tasty! It leans more sweet than savory, which reminded me of tea egg sweet soup.
It’s definitely worth the money and worth a try if you’re already in Flushing.“

“First place I tried in Flushing and it did not disappoint. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming with a relaxed Hong Kong café vibe. Service was friendly and quick. The turnip cake was crispy on the outside and soft inside, the dim sum was fresh, and the wings were perfectly glazed and full of flavor. Great first impression of Flushing. I’ll definitely be back.“

“great place to get a jianbing, chinese savory pancake, in the area. my go to is the peking duck jian bing as they get the roast duck right from the corner 28 stand. i honestly don't think the peking duck is WORTH the $5 as it's 5 thinly sliced pieces of duck, but the $6 original will fill you up just fine.
CASH ONLY, but I overheard they take zelle? I may have heard wrong. there's no seating to my knowledge-- there may be a second floor for seating.“

“I try to leave reviews every now and then because I rely on them when deciding where to eat, so I wanted to leave one for this place. I’ve only been here once so far, but it was really good. I ordered the chicken and broccoli and the chicken egg foo young, and everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try other items. If you’re on the fence and trying to decide whether to give this place a shot, I’d say it’s worth it—I really enjoyed it.“

“I tried the boneless spare ribs that everybody was raving about, and oh boy, that was delicious. Don't even think twice about it. It's a delicious dish. I heard going things about the General Tso's too, which is my normal go-to dish at Chinese restaurants, so now I am going to order and try that as well. By the way heads up: No indoor dining options, and CASH only! Amazing prices. Also free delivery.“

“My go to place for Uyghur food. Perfect for both dine in and take out. Just keep in mind that the tea is only available for dine in. “If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that serves as close to as true northern and farm style cuisine of China, I would highly recommend this place.
Flavors are close to what you would find in the rural areas of China for those familiar.
Serving size mimics the generous portions seen in north eastern region of China for a restaurant in the US.
Small and clean establishment
Would recommend coming in a group of three and higher and ordering at least one dish from the chef’s recommended section.
Try the dumplings and the cabbage & meat ball soup (for me it was the meatballs that gave the countrywide flavors)
Hardy meal for the famished.
Restaurant service is mostly in Mandarin, but the dishes from the pictures should be safe choices for most.“

“Casual, amateurish service does nothing to detract from the delicious food. The dishes are deep, complex and sincere. Plating varies from beautiful to mundane. One constant is the wonderful flavors of the food. Will go again and again and watch them sharpen up the lesser skills while delighting in excellent food at very low prices!“

“vegetarian food review:
-> VEGETABLE FRIED RICE: super yum and flavorful (can customise the spice). The quantity was so worth the money. 100/10
-> BROCOLLI WITH GARLIC SAUCE: one of the best things i have tried. goes so well with plain white rice or even better with the fried rice. we got it made super spicy and COULDNT get enough of it. Again omg the quantity was soooo goooood.
3 people shared the above 2 dishes along with some light soup and we were all full, so cost effective, the bill was 30 dollars and iM more than happy to write this review.
Only negative points for me:
1. they use eggs to make their noodles, so i couldn't try them
2. not much variety for vegetarians who dont eat eggs.
3. will be really nice if they can have a separate whole vegetarian section.“

“🍜 food: Hand pulled noodles are freshly made, chewy and super delicious. It’s a flavour bomb! Loved it ( I ordered cumin hand pulled noodles)
🏠Ambience: the restaurant is beautiful but the stone designed chairs are quite uncomfortable for short people like me.

“Annie’s kitchen is in all likely hood one of the finest eateries in the tristate, in fact I would dare to say the entire western hemisphere. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff extremely inviting helpful and hospitable. I felt more like family than a customer dining there. In short it is a must and will be recommending.
P.S. the portions are very large, very good for the money but I finished it so I can’t take a pic because I was very hungry.“

“I ordered the food on my way home from work and the food was AT MY DOOR STEP when I got home. It was still hot and honestly so convenient to not cook after work for the family! Food was incredibly affordable for feeding my whole family of 6. My favorite was their wonton soup, sesame chicken, and pork fried rice. The ribs were also delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for all the moms that don’t want to cook and still want to eat good! I definitely will be coming back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! “This is an unassuming little restaurant with excellent food. Their orange chicken is unusually good, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy, and a texture that is crispy rather than doughy. Another favorite of mine is Singapore chow mei fun- a moderately spicy noodle dish with satisfying full flavor, not just heat.“

“New China is a staple in the community, such a great place!! Good food, great staff (I love that they speak Spanish for our large Hispanic population), and solid prices. The first place my family thinks of when wanting to get an easy take out for dinner. Just sad they don’t have delivery but it’s understandable. Recommend this place for sure!!“
