“I’ve been to Mojo multiple times and have never been disappointed by the food, vibes, and service. Tonight we went there for my sister’s birthday and our server, Melissa was phenomenal. She was extremely kind, attentive, and charismatic. When I didn’t realize I left my jacket on the floor, she picked it up and put it on my chair and my sister left her headphones as we were leaving and she went outside to give them to her. She is the best! Next time I come I’ll be sure to ask for her!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and the experience was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely exceptional, each dish bursting with flavor and well prepared. The service was top-notch as well - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Cosmo and my friend ordered the old fashioned. The bartender did an excellent job and both drinks were delicious!

However, the ambiance left something to be desired. The decor felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization to match the quality of the cuisine and service. With a revamp in the ambiance department, this place could easily become a five-star dining destination. It's that rare bar for the working class, the type of bar that isn't seen that often anymore because of all those new "hipster/fancy" bars being created or old bars turning into that as-well. It's the type of place you go after a hard days work, to be able to relax, and forget all those struggles a day at your job may provide. It's might be a a bit small, but not lacking in comfort at the same time.It's not only that, it's a place where anybody who wants to have a good time and relax can go. It's a place unchanged by time, but sometimes that's what people need. Sometimes people need a place that they can rely on, and be sure will always be there when you need it/the way you need it. The owner takes care of his bar and the people who go there. He's there everyday greeting customers, treating them like family, while embracing new customers as-well. I recommend anyone who finds this is the best place for them, to try it out.“

“It was my first time trying Empanada Queen, a food truck in Baldwin, and overall, it was a decent experience. They had a deal for 10 empanadas for $28, so I decided to try a variety. I went with shrimp, beef, chicken, and mac and cheese empanadas. The flavors were all pretty tasty, with the shrimp, beef, and chicken being the standouts. However, I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese one—it just didn’t have the right texture or flavor I was expecting.

The wait time was short, which was a nice surprise, especially since it was freezing outside! I was glad to have the car to wait in while the food was being prepared.

One thing to note is that the outer shell of the empanadas was quite hard, which made them a bit tough to bite into. On the positive side, the fillings themselves were flavorful. The only other downside was that they only offer one sauce, which had a bit of spice to it. While I didn’t mind it, I wish there were a few more sauce options to choose from.

I'd still recommend it if you're in the area and craving empanadas.“
