“FIRST of all best food and bakery I've ever been too in Greene county! Absolutely relaxing vibe inside with a lot of healthy but delicious options! There is ALSO now a beautiful little spot outside for the nicer weather days!I love the variety of offers on foods and baked goods! I equally love there is some consistency to the menu itself but also flavors of the weeks and specials that change weekly so I am ALWAYS getting to try new things! I have NEVER met a person working here that wasn't filled with cheer or super helpful and sweet! The owners are some of the most down to earth and kindest people I've met! "CHRISSY" is literally one of my favorite humans alive! I NORMALLY try to support local, but THIS place is dangerously addictive. I CANT recommend it more. The almond croissants specifically are to die for! The sandwiches and breads are absolutely delightful! 1000/10 recommend! Bring a friend, come have lunch, or a snack!Worth EVERY single penny and then some! Whenever someone I know is having a hard day or me personally, my answer to brighten their spirits is ALWAYS a bite from SEE AND BE, and if they're NOT currently home, I ALWAYS leave an almond croissant or flavor of the week wrapped and bagged ( and tied)on their porch ( so the critters CANT get to it because there is NOTHING an almond croissant from SEE and BE CANT fix! I don't normally brag about places, but coming from someone who eats their feelings on the regular SEE and BE is a place I ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face and a happy belly! EVERYTHING is homemade with love and ALWAYS sits so nice in my belly! There is a whole section inside of take home goodies like jams and loafs of bread and trail mixes ECT. It's expanded my knowledge on food, as well as absolutely surpassed what I thought was good eating here in Greene county!!!!! If you've read THIS far on my essay I urge you to go to Main Street in Cairo and try ANYTHING on the menu! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! I promise! They had these sandwiches yesterday seriously I would go there for nearly everyday if they included it on the menu. “We were out and about in Hudson today and we were a little hungry so we stopped into kitties and I had probably one of the best egg sandwiches I ever had. I highly recommend the egg sandwich with sauerkraut. The vibe in there was very comfortable iced coffee Was nice and strong. They had a great bakery selection and a lot of local products. So if you’re coming out of the train station in Hudson, I say swing by kitties you won’t be sorry.“

“I had a veggie breakfast sandwich and drip coffee. The former was deliciously fatty and the latter was just okay. The shop is cute and conveniently located, and they offer free wifi. The two things I’d change are: (1) the seats, which are uncomfortable for those hoping to do work on a laptop, and (2) free water. You can ask the staff for water, and they’ll give you a small glass, but I always appreciate when there’s a water dispenser.“

“We had a most extraordinary Sunday brunch at The Maker Cafe yesterday. We were there by chance, around 1 pm, and are so glad we found this lovely spot with a most attentive staff. We're not spring chickens, and we much appreciated the help getting seated, the delicious butternut squash soup, the fabulous eggplant alla parmgiana sandwich, the broccoli salad. Thanks to you all - we loved it, and we look forward to coming to the restaurant some evening soon.“

“I’ve been to South Cairo twice in the last week to visit my mom. Our first visit we ate there. The restaurant was very clean. I had a sandwich on a hard roll with a side of macaroni salad and my mom had the chicken salad wrap special they were offering. Both were delicious. The wrap was so huge she took half of it home for dinner. We were back down today and did take out this time. My mom and I ordered the same things because they were so good the first time. My husband got the Catskill Mtn cheesesteak Philly sub which was huge and he said was delicious. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries and they were amazing, also. I highly recommend anyone who is in the area to definitely check them out. You won’t regret it!“

“We stopped by for a cold drink. we had the Chocolate Coffee shake it was delicious. They offer many flavors. And if hot coffee is your thing they offer many varieties. They also have cookies and scones and quiche. And as my granddaughter puts it AMAZING smoothies.“

“Although time has left this place behind inside and out, there’s a certain local feel to this place, as unassuming as its name. I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.“

“Australian spec flat white! Excellent coffee in a warm, comforting space. The service is friendly and helpful too. Pastries are excellent and hyper fresh. Haven't been for wine in the evening but I'm sure, based on the service during the day, that it'll be fantastic too
