“This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. Ice cream was super cremy and fresh, and they put the perfect amount of blended toppings in the swirly.The shop featured about 20 gelato flavors to choose from and also had a nice expresso bar/candy station in the back.The service was nice and friendly.Overall, this place is a must try!“
“This place is a little diamond. Went for the first time last night and WOW. It took me back to Italy. They don't use the artificial flavors you'll find at all the local icecream shops. It's REALLY pistachio and hazelnut and chocolate. The flavors were absolutely incredible and smooth. Not too sweet. Just perfect across the board. No little bits of ice like you get at other spots where the ice cream has been sitting. It was all fresh. And the owner was a lovely Italian woman who was so happy to share her treats with us. They were very kind and patient as we struggled to pick a flavor (because they all were AMAZING). They also have an assortment of tarts and the icecream cakes that looks like the best ice cream cake you'll ever have. They are absolutely beautiful! If you love proper Italian gelato or ice cream this spot is gonna be your new favorite.“
“I come to this place almost every morning, and it never disappoints. It is family owned, and the workers are all very accommodating and friendly. “Great neighborhood family owned italian restaurant. It always so enjoyable eating at Eliza's. Chef makes great food and always has great specials to choose from each night. We started we baked clams and needed to ask for more bread to soak up all that delicious sauce. We both decided on pasta for dinner and both were great choices. I went with pasta rollo which was rolled up fresh lasagna. After seeing similar dishes online I always wanted to try it glad they had it and it was delicious. My wife enjoyed her pasta with chicken & broccoli. Since it was Tuesday they have pasta night and both dishes came with a nice salad.“

“I don’t know what this Celina’s problem is but barrier rocks. And as a 30 something year old I can say one of the main reasons I love barrier is because the music is never too loud for conversation. Beers are great and bar tenders are all super friendly and attentive. Food is also delicious! It’s bar food lady go to Gordon Ramsey if you want a 5 star meal.“

This is the kind if treat once took my first spoonful I was already plotting when I could Come to eat it again and why did I only get a regular sized when I should have gone BIGGER. There are over 100 flavors to pick from and additives and more so truly you can go wild. I really enjoyed coconuts tutti fruti, tigers blood so far. I wish I had one sooner. “Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! Always leave happy and full from delicious FRESH seafood!!! 10/10“
“I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write one now. Tonight we threw a surprise birthday party for a family member here. The entire experience was amazing.The owner is super accommodating, even letting me switch the date or the event last minute and change the number of people. They gave us ample space to set up food, desserts, and have more than enough seating for our guests.The bartender was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. He even came to sweep our area before our event started after we dropped some decorations on the floor.There was a live band that everyone enjoyed, from the younger guests to the older guests. The games also kept the kids entertained.This place was exactly what we were looking for and it was perfect for everyone who attended, from the 4 year old up to the 78 year old. This is perfect for events and families!“

“The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“

I have never had a bad experience here at all - from food, to wait staff, etc. Their Lobster BLT is to die for, but it hasn't been on the menu for awhile. “Juice & Gems hands down tops my list of Black owned small businesses!! I come in once a week to purchase patties. The staff comprised of family is ALWAYS extremely kind and warm towards myself, my son and my mom. The patties are always crisped to perfection and the filling … ? chef’s kiss! There are other places I have had delicious vegan patties from but I choose to come here weekly because of their treatment. Customer service is of extreme importance to me & they’ve got that down. My only problem is that I haven’t, yet, expanded my palette to try out some of their other food options. I will and be back her to review!“

“I've came to blacksmiths many times for coffee and bakery items, but today was my first time having an actual breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla was pretty good and a big portion size in my opinion. I always love getting the maple brown sugar latte! Overall blacksmiths is delicious with friendly staff, but a little pricey in my opinion - which is why I only come here once in a while. Would recommend!“

“I'm so surprised I hadn't written a review for Marvel before, especially since I have been here a couple times because it's pretty close to my sister's house. It's definitely great value compared to a lot of other ice cream shops. Since the last time I was there they've added more flavor options too. When I went recently, I ordered a small cup of half pistachio/half dulce de leche with the Marvel mix on top (rainbow sprinkles/chocolate crunchies). It hit the spot, although it did not seem as creamy as it was the last time I had it. Service was ok, not the friendliest though. If I'm around the area, I may pop back.“
