Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

Service was on point from Heidi and she was a breath of fresh air. This restaurant has been around for so many years and I'm happy to report it gets better with age. “Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“

I can confidently say Toskana will be my go-to casual Italian takeout spot from now on...I'm still eating as I write this, but so thoroughly impressed I had to post a review immediately. Menu is fairly simple and classic for this type of establishment, but everything was executed perfectly. The chicken francese hero was buttery and bright, the rigatoni alls vodka was flavorful and decadent with pasta perfectly al dente even after sitting in takeout container, and broccoli rabe is garlicky and the perfect side. They also threw in a free (and generous!) side of garlic knots, which are also delicious in their own right. Everything arrived promptly, piping hot, and very fresh. I rarely order take out and needed some comfort food tonight after a rough day, and really hit the spot. Thank you!“

“There is no shortage of pizza joints in Harrison and there are 4 within a 5 block radius by my count. NY Pizza Station gets its name from being next to the Harrison Metro-North Railroad station that you can grab a slice or a pie as soon as you get off your commuter train. This used to be the location of Pizza 2000 years ago, but when P2K moved to a new, larger space across the street, one of their old employees decided to open Pizza Station on his own. The menu and formula did not change much from the P2K days. You stick with what works and what your customers like. Being just a short walk from our office, we would come regularly for Pizza Fridays and also order whole pies for special occasions and rainy days. We were such regular customers, that we were once captured by the Google Streetview camera car while walking back on Pizza Friday (our faces were blurred out). The pizza is pure NY Neapolitan style. We like to order fresh pies for delivery or to pick up. They come in 3 sizes, small (14"), large (16") & X-large (18"). The 18" pie barely fits in the box and sometimes the edge has to be folded a little to close the box. They also cut the XL into 10 slices which is unusual in itself. We also love the individual specialty slices like the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Bruschetta, which can also be ordered as whole pies. You can't go wrong with a traditional cheese pie, too, but my favorite topping has to be sausage with mushrooms a close second. Why not both? I have yet to try the heroes or pastas, but they do look good. There might be a veal parmagiana hero scheduled for Pizza Friday this week!“

“Nice and easy pizzeria in the area :) I step in at quite night, self order and they bring our food to the table. This is just my test and my own opinion. I don't like the food at all but nothing wrong with the food and how they prepare it. My Italian husband love the food, he actually brings my order home and finish it later. I get shrimp in garlic oil and when the food comes, it isn't like I expect at all. So, all I want to say is I just like food that is not in thick flour and not too oily.
