“Mario’s Metro Pizza completely changed what I expected from a pizzeria. We came in for a full tasting and every single dish overdelivered. The chicken scarpariello was the standout, juicy chicken smothered in a sauce with real depth, sausage and thin cut potatoes mixed in, plated like something from a sit down Italian restaurant rather than handed over a counter. The vodka rigatoni with fresh burrata was another surprise, creamy, rich, and not something you expect to find at a pizza shop. The Philly cheesesteak pizza and hot honey pepperoni with vodka sauce were both excellent as well, and the hot honey and buffalo wings are made completely from scratch in house.

Beyond the food, the hospitality stood out. The owners, two brothers with over a decade of experience in kitchens across Westchester and New York City, took over a pizzeria that had been a neighborhood staple for decades and elevated it without losing that local feel. You can tell everything is made fresh and with real care.

“Went here on advice from a co worker. Had their classic Grandma slice and a Margarita slice. The grandma has a crunchy thin crust and a lot of very flavorful sauce. I enjoyed it after taking some sauce off to give it more balance. The margarita was good with a thicker crust that had a slightly sweet taste to it. I enjoyed both slices. Good neighborhood pizza.“

The pizza is always tasty, and they also serve excellent pasta dishes and hearty, flavorful soups that are perfect for a cozy meal. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. He went above and beyond, stayed incredibly attentive, and handled multiple tasks at once without missing a beat. “My wife and I have ordered from Previti for several years now thru Door Dash. the food has always been excellent. The other day I had a call from Previti. It was the owner, Joe. He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car. We decided to eat dinner there and take advantage of the pasta night specials. The lasagna and the rigatoni with meat sauce were both excellent. Thank you Joe and staff for taking good care of my mother, and providing us with an excellent meal! All the best!“

“GET THE KALE CEASAR SALAD!!! I love their pizza but I go for the salad. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere and their menu is very accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious and if you are strong enough to leave room for dessert, you will be extremely happy. Their cookie and their brownie come in a cast iron skillet and tase homemade and the ice cream and whipped cream make it even more delicious.“

“I enjoyed a Friday night dinner there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were very attentive.
The dining room is small,outdoor seating and seating at the bar is available.

They are able to open the large windows in the front of the restaurant and gives an all around al fresco dining experience. It was a very warm day, and I would have preferred air conditioning but it was still nice.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to sit at the bar. Which was very nice.

They have a good drink menu with nice cocktails and a good selection of wines and beers. I went with a Peroni.

The menu is small but the is a great selection. The roasted chicken wings were delicious, the Uncle Frank's Pizza and the Meatball Pizza were excellent!

I will go back to Uncle Franks but will remember to make a reservation.“

“I never used to really crave pizza, or even eat it often, but Bravo changed that (for worse? lol). Their regular slice is one of the best I've had on Long Island. I now routinely buy a pie and a dozen garlic knots (also delicious) every month or so and freeze them, reheating a slice here and there. You wouldn't think it, but their chocolate chip cookies are dairy-free, made in-house, and absolutely delicious. Bravo is my go-to pizza spot, and blows away all competition in the area. You won't miss the meat! This is a Kosher, vegetarian, dairy-only facility.“

“Take a step back in time to a classic Italian restaurant feel in this gem. Cash only so leave the credit cards home. Everything is made fresh so no pizza by the slice. They do have small 10” personal pies (for lunch service only).

We had the coal fired pizza with pepperoni and the mozzarella and damn it was delicious. Fresh basil & mozzarella. I don’t know where they got their pepperoni from but it is to die for.

I’d love to come back for a proper dinner because if it’s anything like the pizza I’m sure it’ll be top notch.“
