“Cute place with delicious teas ??. First picture is of Pineapple Green Tea the next pictures are of Passion fruit green tea. The latter is very sweet even if it wasn't with sweetness 100% the former definitely less sweet but both were tasty and the price is also reasonable.“

“I recently visited moge tea, and I have to say, it’s my new favorite spot for milk tea! The flavors are absolutely delicious, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I tried their mango one and strawberry one, and it was perfectly balanced—just the right amount of sweetness and fruit freshness.

The staff was super friendly and helped me choose the perfect drink based on my preferences. Plus, the shop itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Highly recommend if you’re a milk tea lover!“

I found myself coming back more times than I’d like to admit for their House Special Milk Tea—a strangely addictive blend of oats, milk, tea, and perfectly chewy boba. It shouldn't work, but it absolutely does.“

“This is a great restaurant. The owner and staff are very kind and serve amazing dishes. I could definitely taste my beef noodle soup was made with fresh ingredient and homemade noodles. Everything was perfectly spiced. Will definitely come here more often.“

“I came here for a bite with one of my friends after a morning workout class and it wasn't a bad spot! Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it's a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It's much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick.

Their menu contains banh mi, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and a variety of drinks (as well as baked goods in their displays). I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and super warm. They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.“

“Edit: Thank you for the reply. I visited the shop again on a Sunday afternoon and I was positively surprised by the rapidity of the service (less than 10 minutes wait). The drinks were very good and tasty too.

Good menu choice, however I have been here twice and both times I waited an unacceptable long time (40+ minutes) for a single simple drink. The pick up process is unstructured and unreliable. What's the point in waiting if you cannot even receive your drink. Strongly not recommended.“

“I’ve been wanting to come here for the past 2 months here. Last night, finally I was able to come. I am shocked that they’ve been in business for more than a year and I just found them now?Being an avid bubble tea lover along with my kids, I can’t say enough good things about this place. It is a hidden gem in the heart of JSQ. The owner is very down to earth and a people person. You won’t step out of that place without a smile. She will make your drink according to your preference. You can make as many adjustments as you’d like and she will do it with a smile.

We ordered 2 Oreo shakes and a latte bubble tea. I ordered them in M size, but she gave me in L size? and still charged me for M. My kids loved their Oreo shakes and I very much enjoyed my latte. I can’t wait to go back and try the other bubble tea flavors and the waffles and crepes.

“This is one of the best Boba places I ever been too. The lady at the front first greeted me how was your day with the most kindest attitude. May god bless her. Then I got my Boba and it was filled with surprises and it was so yummy. When I left she interested me in a cheesecake. When I got i almost cried because of how good it was. “This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. We strolled in for a tumbling trio, Taiwan popcorn chicken, Lu ro fan, shoestring fries and pickled lotus root.

Upon delivery we are delighted with our order. Everyone was delighted. Atmosphere is low bc it is take out but clean and water ready.

With 2 kids 4 adults this was a nice stop on our afternoon pre-game adventure in Long Island City.“

Each ingredient, from the fresh fruits selected to the freshly brewed coffee and tea, shows the attention to detail, which truly sets this place apart. They use real taro, mango, persimmon, watermelon..etc for the drinks, a rare find! Sugar level and other modifications can be easily made.

“I came across this boba tea shop on a Thursday evening after a friend recommended. It had a few indoor seats so I was able to order my drinks and chat with friends for awhile. I ordered the classic bubble milk tea with 25% sugar and it was just sweet enough (but not too sweet)! This was honestly so yummy and the boba was super soft. It's one of the best bobas I've had in awhile in NYC and reminds me of the ones I've had in China. I honestly preferred this over Kung Fu tea which is right across the street. Not to mention, my drink was under $5 which is way more affordable than other tea shops. I was craving this so much that I had to come back the next day to try their popcorn chicken as well. To my surprise, their popcorn chicken is also delicious. It's has a crispy crunch and the chicken is tender and well seasoned. It also came with a spicy chili sauce on the side. Overall, I highly recommend to stop by for a quick drink and snack! Now I'm craving more boba!“

“Saw a review that said they weren't as busy on early Wednesdays, so I went on an early Wednesday and sure enough there was no line. I got a strawberry matcha which tasted really good, but do note that the strawberry is highly concentrated and may overpower the matcha if you prefer a stronger matcha flavor. “I’ve visited Modern Tea Shop before, and was super happy with my drink (rose milk tea). Today I decided to try it again and go for a different flavor! They have a lot of floral-inspired teas which is unique and a great reason to go. I got the matcha jasmine milk tea (oat milk) with boba (50% sugar), and thought it was 7/10. The oat milk wasn’t as creamy, so it caused the drink to be a bit watery unfortunately. Also, the jasmine flavor was not very pronounced, either due to the way it’s made or the sugar level I chose. Not sure I would get that drink again, but would recommend the rose milk!“

I always appreciate free milk substitutions (lactose intolerance is a lifestyle at this point). I really liked how pronounced the tea flavors were and it wasn't too sweet at the regular sugar levels either. The prices are on the lower end compared to other bubble tea spots in this area.“

“Love coming here for bubble tea! Some of the best I’ve had in lower Manhattan. Service is quick and friendly too. Only a couple of barstools for seating so it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter end but if you let them know to make it half sweet then they turn out perfect for me.“

“Low key one of my favorite (if not favorite outright) bubble tea places in the entire city. The service is great, the prices are reasonable (bubble tea is so expensive these days), and it just has a nice casual vibe. It's never too packed or rowdy. And most importantly, the bubble tea is always great.

My go-to here is the peach oolong with tea jelly and it never disappoints. The peach flavoring isn't overly artificial or cloyingly sweet like it can be at other places. It's really good!

Location is really nice as well, you can take your tea to go and chill in Washington Square Park nearby. Makes for a great afternoon or evening.“

“Rating this 5-Stars. This new boba drink cafe is unlike any other boring same-old franchises out there. It has its own identity. You will absolutely love it once you step into the cafe. The interior decor is very warm and all filled with cute piggies everywhere once you walk in. Service was friendly and great. “I got the Pisces drink (mango/lychee/jasmine green tea) 70% sweet and less ice. It was perfectly sweet without being overly sweet or watery. The strawberry heart jelly was unique so I couldn’t help but try it!! I was told that the brown sugar milk tea was good as well and the prices are very reasonable considering the size (they only have one size, the drinks are about $5.50 but it might depend what you get) I’ll definitely come back again to try their other drinks, food, and desserts. They sell ice cream and mochi donuts too! They have a kiosk where you can order from and indoor seating. The service is fast.“
