“When every Chinese FOB within a three-mile radius flocks to the same boba spot, you know they’re onto something.

I found myself coming back more times than I’d like to admit for their House Special Milk Tea—a strangely addictive blend of oats, milk, tea, and perfectly chewy boba. It shouldn't work, but it absolutely does.“

NaiSnow Tea and Bakery (Long Island City) Bubble Tea •
27-53 Jackson Ave, Long Island City

“One of my favorite food spots to go to when I studied abroad in China. I’m pleasantly surprised that they could keep the consistent quality and flavor here in the city. I recommend getting the egg tarts and the super avocado.

The workers in the store were very friendly and accommodating, especially Tseten who gave me outstanding customer service!

The store also has a bathroom and wi-fi which is very nice when you wanna do work away from home.“

“Heytea is definitely my favorite tea spot! I’m so glad they recently opened on Long Island City. My go-to drinks are the Triple Matcha and the Mango Grapefruit—both are absolutely delicious and worth coming back for.

The only downside is parking can be a little tricky, and the store is almost always busy. It usually takes about 20 minutes to get your order if you line up. I highly recommend using their app to order ahead and just pick up your drinks—it makes the experience so much easier.

Despite the wait, the drinks are amazing and totally worth it.“

“Nice fusion place. The ramen is pretty decent and the teriyaki is good. Chicken wings are good and crunchy. They are pretty quick with orders whether you dine in or carry out. Fairly broad choices on the menu with lots of popular street food options and everything we've tried was at least pretty good or better. The boba tea here is also good and they let you select how much ice you want and what % of sweetness you like. All around solid place and I'm glad they're here.“

“I came here for a bite with one of my friends after a morning workout class and it wasn't a bad spot! Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it's a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It's much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick.

Their menu contains banh mi, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and a variety of drinks (as well as baked goods in their displays). I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and super warm. They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.“
