“Walked by and saw a flyer in the window for Monday afternoon jazz. Wasn't sure it was open as it was so dark inside compared to the bright sunshine inside and found it was.
What a great little bar, friendly bar tender and an enjoyable set by a jazz duo.
I'd certainly pay another visit next time in in NY“

“Friendly staff and bartender. Good drink selection. I don’t even like bars or drinking but this place was cozy. The food was surprisingly really good given that it’s a bar. I got the burger which was juicy and the fries were crispy and hot; chicken bacon sandwich which was amazing. They also did a bingo night which was fun.“

“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. I was here for the first 2016 Presidential Debates and there was a lot of opinions, but in true NYC style, nobody got bent, no matter how much of a (&%$g idiot the other person was.“

“Kelly’s Tavern in Bay Ridge has been holding it down since 1932—so yes, Papa Kenny, you’re in one of the oldest and most classic bars in the neighborhood, and it doesn’t get much more Brooklyn than this. Old-school Irish vibes, cheap drinks, and regulars arguing at the bar—you might as well be sitting here with Sinatra, a Mets game, and a roll of singles for the jukebox. Kelly’s is real-deal Bay Ridge, not just any old watering hole: it survived Prohibition, hosted generations of locals, showed up in “Saturday Night Fever,” and still keeps the spirit of Brooklyn alive every single day.
While there are even older bars in Brooklyn (like Teddy’s in Williamsburg, 1887), for Bay Ridge you’re smack in one of the neighborhood legends—not the newest kid, but definitely in that OG company. Raise a glass and yell, “Cheers, Papa Kenny! This is what New York feels like!”“

It's your usual bar food, quite big portions. Free popcorn, and sometimes sour gummy.
Had the chicken cutlet burger. Slightly overcooked but still juicy and delicious.
The bartender is super friendly and helpful.“

“If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.
Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.
Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.
But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.“

“I go here every chance I can. The drinks are great. The food is delicious! The environment is fantastic and there's usually an adorable dog somewhere(sometimes that dog is the one I bring with me 😜). If you're in the area and in the mood for a cocktail and some delicious food then I highly recommend coming here“
“Could not believe there is a small town bar in the middle of Hoboken. Loved everything about it, from the bartender Daniel, who was not only professional, but friendly and fun to chat with, to the juke box you can play your music.

“One of my favorite dive bars in the city and a neighborhood staple in the LES. The wood paneled walls and plastic covered sofas add to the lure of this place. I’d recommend going between 5pm-8pm during Mon-Thursday if you’re want to grab a seat.“

“Great vibe and drinks. However, when I paid for the first round of drinks, they presented the bill in a way that covered the line for 20% gratuity that was automatically added due to the large party I had just joined. Guess that’s on me for not triple checking, but I double tipped.“

“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“
