“Came from New Jersey for a 30th Surprise Birthday and The Rail did not disappoint! We were sat outside under the gazebo where food and drinks were served quickly as needed. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip. Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food all wrapped up in a place I probably would've just driven by not even knowing ... Who knew?“

When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “We just had lunch a group of 18 at Salts Restaurant this afternoon and everything was perfect. The atmosphere and service were outstanding even as they also cared for another large party. Due to the snow and the snow plow blocking the ramp a few of us needed help navigating the back entrance stairs. Both Katie and Armando were great helps. They were both very strong and familiar with assisting people. I knew I was in capable hands. And everyone loved their food. The food was plentiful with lots of delicious options. I had the Reuben that was so good. Thanks to the entire staff for a job “well done”!!“

“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“Delicious! My wife and I were checking out the menu during the Canal Days when the owner stepped out and introduced himself. He was great to talk to and suggested we try the special. She had the special (turkey BLT wrap) and I had the beef on wick. Food was delicious and the service was top-notch in our book.

“On our annual visit from Canada to visit the NY State fair and then over to Rochester we dropped into this Jeremiah's for dinner. The food was great and the portions impressive. I received 4 large pieces of fish in my fish n chips meal, twice as much you get in the similar priced item back home in Canada (gotta love those American portions!). My guest were equally happy with their meals and the value and quality. Pizza was perfect as were the chicken wings.“

“Several of us old guys rotate a monthly dinner. Tonight six of us dined at Porterhouse. Service was on point. Shawna was great. We order family style and pass plates around. Apps we had were Artichoke French, arancini and pot stickers. All fantastic. Entrees were salmon, strip steak and braised spareribs. Sides of mashed potatoes, root veggies and a great rice. Three bottles of red. Five after dinner drinks. $100 per person including tip. All six plan on returning. Highly recommended.“
